04.01.2022 Today marks the 12th anniversary of the National Apology to the Stolen Generations. The inter-generational trauma of forced child removal is affecting communities today, with Aboriginal people over-represented in homelessness services. The Department of Communities "All Paths Lead to a Home" 10 Year Strategy on Homelessness tells us that of the 23,739 people in WA who received specialist homelessness services, 42% were Aboriginal.
