07.01.2022 BULLI UPDATE!!! We have been working with the lovely Elisha from @paiano_design_ and @paiano_custom_kitchens for our open kitchen that will be featured in our Bulli store. Kitchen cupboards will be made from Yakisugi or Japanese burnt timber cladding. Shou Sugi Ban is a traditional Japanese method of charring timber with fire. The process results in a black carbon layer on the timber boards which protects the material and reduces its maintenance requirements. ... @paiano_design_ using a 3D render to bring our vision to life. I am such a visual person so seeing our ideas in a 3D render enabled us to work with our ideas and make relevant changes.
