25.01.2022 Last few hours, quick visit to Venice Beach and Santa Monica Pier. Now for the long haul home, and back to reality. Thanks again Steve for organising such a brilliant trip for us all, it was a blast!

23.01.2022 Another day at the races, Vegas style! Got to meet some of the legends today, such a cool day, everyone we meet are so accommodating!

23.01.2022 We had an amazing day at Edelbrock, show right throughout the plant and their testing and manufacturing process!

22.01.2022 Great end to a brilliant day at the drags followed by a "Cackle Fest" (firing up a few drag cars) in front of the hotel. Meal ordering is still a challenge, more so for the poor attendants trying to understand our strange accents! It's amazing how fast the guys learnt how to order a beer correctly!

Special thanks to Virginia for all your help arranging the outfits, accessories & posters for our display. Congratulations also to David Rulach for taking home an award for best low rider with his Impala.

17.01.2022 Another early start. This time at the Long beach swap meet. Lots of parts and cars for sale. Their strong economy, plus our poor dollar conversion doesn't make for many bargains.

14.01.2022 We spent a brilliant day at the Peterson Museum, the Vault tour was amazing full of priceless cars. One of the themes was movie vehicles, pic the movies!

12.01.2022 5:30am start for Donuts & Derelicts. This little show runs every Saturday throughout the year and always draws a big crowd.

12.01.2022 Day three, Famosa Raceway. More fantastic nostalgic racing. They capped the evening of with a massive cruise and cacklefest of about 40 historic drag cars. It's enough to make your eyes water, not from the memories, those fumes burn you eyes like crazy!

11.01.2022 We got to meet Jimmy Shine at his workshop today. This guy is such a legend and nice guy in the hot rod world. Some of their projects were a work of art.

This years theme is " Men in Black"-Chevrolets.... Special thank you to John Fagnani for all the liaison with the organisers booking the cars in and Bob the builder once again building the props for the stand!

05.01.2022 Day two, Hot Rod reunion at the famous Famosa Raceway in Bakersfield. Amazing how many classic style drag cars come out for this event, not forgetting the swap meet and car show as well.
