22.01.2022 Our August meeting via Zoom is on at 1pm today, 15 August! Please join us if you can - message us for the invitation. Grab your cuppa, some hand sewing and see what everyone has been doing over the past month!

22.01.2022 Let's vote to cancel 2020 - and reboot the year for 2021!! Stay safe everyone - we need to get through this before we all run out of fabric!!

19.01.2022 The retreat boxes are almost ready to go out to our members and friends who are participating in our 4 day virtual retreat 'Home for Christmas'. The virtual retreat starts Thursday 22 October and we have programmed 4 days to make quilts, Christmas decorations and Christmas gifts that will be distributed to those affected by bushfires earlier this year. We hope to get these items 'Home for Christmas' to give some special cheer. Message us if you are interested in joining us - and share the information, everyone is welcome. The cost for non-members is $15.

18.01.2022 We are day 1 into our 'Home for Christmas' Virtual Retreat making quilts and Christmas decorations, placemats, advent calendars and so much more! The items made are headed for homes affected by bushfires earlier in the year. We hope the attendees are having fun and pacing themselves - we have 3 more days to go! The table runner pictured was made by one of our members, Mary Wylie - a few Christmases ago.

17.01.2022 Some of us love a challenge - this one is a 6" square and the theme is to create an art inspired design for a stamp. Let us know if you take up the challenge - we would love to see your work!

16.01.2022 Absolutely! We shouldn't NEED to know what we are going to do with our fabric! Support your local quilt shops and buy fabric - it's the least we can do!!

15.01.2022 Our Virtual Retreat has been running so well, we forgot to post a photo from Day 2! So we are almost at the end of Day 3 and there has been lots and lots of sewing done, many catch ups of friends, old and new and a few good laughs! The quilt below is for a special birthday of one of our members and is made by her friendship group, the Gourmet Quilters! Sounds like a great friendship group - one that combines gourmet food and patchwork - a perfect combination! See you for Day 4 tomorrow!

11.01.2022 The day is ending on Day 1 of our 'Get Up & Sew' Virtual Retreat and it was fitting that it was also R U OK? day as well. It was heartwarming and wonderful to see so many faces on our Zoom session this morning and to see the sewing that had been done during the day on our afternoon catch up. We have all missed each other, we have missed the energy we pick up from each other and we have missed the hugs! But we will get through this, together! xx

05.01.2022 What a beautiful day it has been! A hint of spring and hopefully good things to come. Today should have been our Quilt-In at the Williamstown Town Hall and it would have been an amazing day! We decided earlier this year to reschedule to Saturday 29 May, 2021 from 10am - 3pm! Something to look forward to. Stay safe everyone!!
