19.01.2022 We celebrated Neighbourhood Watch Week yesterday . A beautiful breeze in the cool shade of the picnic shelter at Kanyana Park . It is always good to hear the historical stories first hand from Trevor Harrington . We need to capture and treasure the history . Generous time from Constablev Murphy . 16.01.2022 AUGUST 2020 - is RURAL ROAD SAFETY MONTH. Interesting research... why am I not surprised at the findings? There is more we can do as a community. We need to show community engagement. See you at the AGM on Tuesday night next . 7 pm Kureelpa& Dulong Community Hall.

13.01.2022 Kureelpa Abd Dulong Community Hall now has a Justice of the Peace Service operating out of the hall. A friendly JP will be in the hall each Wednesday 1pm-3pm . If you wish to avail yourself of this opportunity just pop in to the hall during this time .

09.01.2022 IT's AGM time. The Annual General Meeting for Kureelpa Dulong NHW will be held in the Kureelpa & Dulong Community Hall next Tuesday evening at 7 pm. ( 11th August). We would love to see new faces from our surrounding area at the meeting. We are very happy to welcome people from Spring Pastures, Flaxton and Mapleton and anywhere in this Blackall Range area. The more eyes on keeping our neighbourhoods safe and healthy the better !! Our meetings are only 4 times per year. Please join us for a cuppa.

A couple of years ago a team from NHW approached council and our State Member to ask for a crossing between the bus stops on Nambour- Mapleton Road at the Jewett Road intersection . Great to see some positive changes to protect our community . Great work NHW.

02.01.2022 The Kureelpa and Dulong Neighbourhood Watch sincerely hope you are all doing well while following the CoVid 19 virus regulations. A 'silver lining' has been that we have finally revived our Facebook Page. Please 'LIKE AND SHARE' to increase our reach. During the past year, any posts to the Kureelpa and Dulong Community Hall were often relevant to Kureelpa Dulong NHW. 2019 was a very active year for Kureelpa Dulong NHW and we look forward to an equally active 2020. I will post some pics ..of the NHW Clean Up Australia event in March. Once again- great to meet such passionate citizens.
