21.01.2022 Messengers of Peace Each year millions of scouting youth become Messengers of Peace by doing good deeds in the community. It is a huge worldwide movement of youth within scouting. This year, our local Cub Scouts are going to join the ranks. They will be learning about Aboriginal youth and they will participate in a Walkathon to raise funds for their education. ... As part of the "Stomp Out The Gap" campaign, on their next Cub Camp they will walk about 10km. Every kilometre will earn an extra dollar or two towards their fundraising goals. 18.01.2022 Congratulations to our scouts who are now co-holders of the Stradbroke Cup for camping skills! To earn this award, scouts must independently camp to a high standard including planning, campsite setup, cooking and cleaning, all without adults!
