24.01.2022 Grade 2-6 students have been working hard this term on the #fingerknittingchallenge to raise awareness for Epilepsy Tasmania Yesterday we measured all our finger knitting and it was 70 metres long! Well done to all the students involved!

20.01.2022 In grade 8 Science, students have been learning about the Rock Cycle and how rocks change into different types via geological process. They have made posters of the Rock Cycle and today simulated 3 million years of a rock undergoing these various changes in an interactive game.

20.01.2022 MHS Athletics Carnival Grades 2-10 - Students to be dropped at Bachelor St or Wilsdon St entrances between 8:30-9am. - Grade 2-6 student return to MHS at 1pm via school bus (pick up as normal) - Grades 7-10 remain at Rec all day (pick up at Rec) - Parents coming to watch the carnival must remain in their vehicles as a COVID safe protocol... - Students are encouraged to wear house colours. 19.01.2022 The primary students held a special Fathers Day Assembly this morning. It was great to see all the hard work they have been doing for their male family members. We hope all our families have a safe and happy Fathers Day.

18.01.2022 Footy Colours Day Fundraiser Wear your favourite teams footy colours for a gold coin donation to support kids living with cancer The Prefects are encouraging all students to participate in the Footy Colours Day Fundraiser. On Wednesday the 16th of September all students are able to wear their favourite teams footy colours for a gold coin donation. There will be a BBQ at lunch time. Hamburgers and Sausages will be $2. The money raised will be donated to the Fight Cancer Foundation.

MHS would also like to thank the Queenstown Lions Club who supported Davinas transition to Grade 11 with a bursary to help follow her passion in the Performing Arts in 2019.

06.01.2022 Footy Colours Day was a big success yesterday for the Prefects and House Captains, thank you to all who wore their teams colours, donated and participated in the activities at recess and lunch.
