17.01.2022 #ICYMI, over the weekend 9-10 November RAAF Base Edinburgh opened its gates to the public for an exhilarating, action packed Air Show. The two-day event showca...sed how far we've come in aviation technology during the 100 years since Sir Ross and Sir Keith Smith made their epic flight from England to Australia in 1919. The crowds got to see some of #YourADF's most advanced military technology, including our fifth generation fighter aircraft, the F-35A Lightning II, in addition to historic and vintage aircraft. We had a blast Adelaide, South Australia, and we hope you did too. #AusAirForce #EdinburghAirShow2019 #AvGeek #PlaneSpotter

15.01.2022 There’s strength in numbers for our strategic air mobility fleet This month we conducted the first ever 'elephant walk' of KC-30A Multi-Role Tanker Transpor...ts, preparing five aircraft for launch at the same time. Four of the jets went on to support a range of tasks including refuelling training, flight testing, and supporting bushfire relief efforts. A few days later, all eight of our C-17A Globemasters shared the tarmac together albeit briefly - for the first time. Considering how busy they are supporting missions around the globe, we don’t expect this sight to be repeated soon! Which is your favourite? Let us know if you love eight C-17A being reunited, or if the sight of five KC-30As takes your breath away. #AirMobility #AusAirForce #NKAWTG

08.01.2022 Over many years ANZAC Day has been supported and commemorated by our organisation through ceremonial parades country wide. ANZAC Day is a meaningful way of show...ing thanks to our ANZAC’s, as well as all men and women who have and continue to serve our country. Despite the ongoing challenges we face through the global crises of COVID19 we encourage all Cadets and Staff to participate in the ANZAC Day Driveway Vigil that has been initiated by RSL Branches across Australia. We believe that it is important to adapt and evolve through these uncertain times by taking part in a collective Dawn Service, standing in your driveway, on your patio or balcony at 0600hrs on ANZAC Day.

07.01.2022 For those of you who didn’t get to see the F/A-18A by Flight Lieutenant Kyle from the ground at the Adelaide Superloop 500. Here is the cockpit view of the the display! The display included low passes, demonstration of its maximum turn performance causing forced up to 7G for the pilot and high speed runs at up to 900km/h. While the top speed of the Hornet can reach up to 2,200km/h I’m sure you’ll appreciate the Air Force not breaking local resident’s windows. ...
