25.01.2022 So there's a lot of stuff going on in this big old world of ours at the moment. More than usual, it seems. Just thought I'd give you a peak at what we've been thru in the past 3-and-a-bit months....... So we had fires from just after Chrissy, all the way thru to the end of January. No major damage done thanks to an awesome dude and his D7 putting in some serious containment lines. All good there. (Ewan, I still want one for my birthday!) And neighbours! Fantastic neighbours!...!!!! Then we had 12 inches, yes you read that right, 12 INCHES!!!, of rain in 3 days near the start of February. Did you know that the inside tube and the outside tube of a rain gague can fill up at the same time?!?! Flooding. Again, no major damage done. Then, somehow amongst all of the this, the shed is now 9 tenths finished thanks to Ewan's tireless efforts. We know it was a very hard summer and start to autumn for most of y'all. Some were lucky, many weren't. We were and for that we are truly grateful. From fires to floods, droughts to damaging storms, from not being able to contact loved ones due to service outages to no bog roll available in any shops. Anywhere. You can't make this shit up! Looking forward to moving forward and hope brighter and happier times await us all!!! But what's this big blue machine I see......? Stay tuned folks......

25.01.2022 So many Strap-Ons!! Many, many square feet of SOSGAs!

25.01.2022 That's a wrapp folks! Time for some down time, need to enjoy the floor space for a while . Just wanted to say a MASSIVE thank you to all our customers, (and their customers), for all your loyal support over the past year. And what a year it's been, what with building and packing and moving! Not to mention meeting new and amazing people and extending our industry- related family. Next year promises to be even bigger with more exciting news. (But that's for another day.....) W...e would like to wish every one a very merry and above all, safe Christmas. We know there's a lot of really top people doing it tuff out there this festive season. Our thoughts go out to all of you battling fires and drought. Hang in there and may the new year bring happier and easier times. May you find some time in the hustle and bustle of the festive season to just BE and share some love, laughter and good times with those you hold dear. From Ewan and Sarah, PEACE ! See more

21.01.2022 Please give a big welcome to our latest team member, Raife. Raife is already killing it with assembly on his first day. He's not a knifemaker yet, but is keen to give it a crack. #madeinaustralia #madeincooma #smallbusiness #australianknifemaking

20.01.2022 Getting my #kanban on. I had heard and seen kanban cards before but never really understood them until I watched @pierson_workholding videos. Hopefully this will help to alleviate my fastener stock outs, and the fasteners are just the start! #leanmanufacturing #madeinaustralia #smallbusiness #australianknifemaking

20.01.2022 It's been a rough week here at Countegany however we are all safe and we have not lost any assets. The ignition point of the Badja Forest Rd fire that has devas...tated the south coast was only 1km off our eastern boundary. It took until Tuesday to circle around and hit us from the north. Then Friday it came back from the east and moved to the south of us. Finally yesterday (Saturday) it came at us from the west, burning almost everything that was not already black. Whilst the RFS have been a help, they are spread far too thin. Our neighbourhood team has done a great job at asset protection and generally helping each other out. See more

19.01.2022 It might not look like much but I've just run my first program on the VMC, no crash, no problems (one I worked out why I had a 600mm Z inaccuracy ) #madeinaustralia #australianknifemaking
