25.01.2022 At 11 am on 11 November 1918, the guns on the Western Front fell silent after more than four years of continuous warfare. Today the loss of Australian lives from all wars and conflicts is commemorated on Remembrance Day. On the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month, a minutes’ silence is observed and dedicated to those soldiers who died fighting to protect the nation. We pause to remember all of the men and women of the Australian Defence Force who have made the ultimate sacrifice. We will remember them. Lest we forget.

10.01.2022 Officer trainees in Hobart recently conducted training in the art of describing terrain and terrain effects by practising the delivery of ground briefs. (What a... superb place to practice BTW). Whilst observing socially distant measures cadets were put through their paces physically with a session in the gym later in the weekend. All of these activities are aimed at making the Cadets experience at Duntroon in the final phase of their commissioning just a little bit easier. Good drills Tasmania Platoon!!!!
