25.01.2022 We are so looking forward to your return. Tasmanian Air Tours welcomes your bookings from June 15th.

25.01.2022 We have had over 100mls of rain in Richmond this week. The Coal River is swollen and the ducks couldn’t be happier. Walking this village is just so peaceful and we feel happy that we can offer you our Cottage to share this with you.

24.01.2022 We are lucky enough to have met some wonderful locals in the past month or so. Some from as close by as Hobart others from the north who have never visited Richmond before and others travelling from their country properties for a little bit of village life. The one thing our guests have had in common is a need to stop and to rest. It seems so many are exhausted at the moment. Well, the fire is lit and comfort awaits. Tasmania, make yourself at home.

24.01.2022 #shine4thefrontline Tonight we lit a tree at the front of our home to honour those that each day care for us. Those that stay away from their own families to protect ours. We thank you endlessly and each Saturday night at 8pm until this is over we will light these lights in honour of you. Thank you

22.01.2022 The Richmond Gaol is the oldest convict gaol in Australia, predating Port Arthur by five years. The gaol forms just part of the rich history of Australia so beautifully preserved in Richmond. Some stories always need to be remembered.
