10.01.2022 I need to tell you what happend yesterday... We we singing at Hammond care, not a big audience, but that's ok... Then after a few songs...2 ladies started to da...nce a waltz... Then a man danced a rock... Hurt his knee in the process so sat down and played the piano on the table next to him for the rest of the gig.... Then this lady came to me...took my mike and put her arm around me and started to sing with us... We are talking here of someone who has dementia... When a carer came in the room.. The look on her face... She has never seen this lady so animated ... Meanwhile the lady kept telling me how beautiful I looked.. and my clothes...etc.. Then she said :. Excuse me dear, I have to live you..I need to check on the children.. I'll be back later... When we left after the performance... She wanted to come with us... Needed 2 persons to restrain her... Soooo sad... Specially because she wasn't older than us.... Terrible illness... Hope I won't get it... See more
