25.01.2022 Just say YES...to yourself. Like many women I hold space for, I face a fierce internal battle when it comes to saying YES to myself. When it comes to investing in myself (self-care, knowledge, my health & simple needs) I often seek out external validation or approval first.... I'll talk it out, explain all the reason WHY it's a valid choice & even when it's given a , I'll still find a reason WHY I'm not worthy enough to invest in. #ultimateselfsabotagecycle I'm working on this. Every.single.day. I'm getting better at trusting my intuition & listening to my own inner guidance system. And I'm learning to stand in my choices rather than them being open to suggestions. It's not something we conquer & perfect. But its absolutely something that gets easier with every little YES we give to ourselves. Today, I said YES to the next phase of my vision & ultimately myself. I wobbled, faced my inner critic, procrastinated & then transferred my payment. Will it go ahead (due to Covid)? I'm unsure but very hopeful . But most importantly, today I said YES to myself & I backed myself enough to invest further in my vision. And I couldn't be more proud of myself. If you have an internal niggle that is asking you say YES to yourself more, Why not share it below so I can witness & cheer you along in making it a reality. See more

24.01.2022 I'm taking a moment to press pause on showing up in this space to prioritise the refilling of my own inner-well . Its been a big 6 months, with many visions coming to life & chapters closing over these past few weeks. I am not placing a time-frame on this pocket of peace, I will return to this space when it feels right to do so. ... You can still schedule your own #pocketofpeace via the link in my bio. And I will be contactable via email (or text) if you have any enquires. Like I always remind my beautiful clients...when we give ourselves permission to recieve & rest, it enables us to give more freely to those we love. #slowdownbreatherecieve See more

24.01.2022 Honouring the alternative pathways into motherhood & owning our stories. Some may call it non-traditional, unconventional or straight up medical intervention. Which perhaps is all true...if you're into labels. But In my opinion, however you become a Mother IS valid, sacred & an absolute miracle.... OI, IUI, IVF, donor embryo, donor egg, gestational surrogacy, adoption.... Whatever pathway made you a Mother isn't any less valid (or real) than the woman who conceived her baby naturally. Perhaps when your asked you brush off your journey replying simply "she's an IVF baby, we're lucky". Because in your mind it's not romantic, real or funny enough to share. But I want to gently remind you, if this is you, please share your journey, whatever it encompasses, proudly. Because as any woman who has walked these paths knows, it's a hella of a journey. Filled with hope, tantrums, tears, joy, dissapoiment, many needles & small victories you don't always feel confident to celebrate. I want you to remember how incredibly committed you where to become a Mother. Your resilience was tested often & your heart was possibly shattered more that once. But your hope was strong. And you never gave up. So when your holding your babe in your arms, and someone asks about your journey remember: YOUR STORY MATTERS, all of it. Please don't dull it down, OWN IT. And from me to you, I see you Mumma & you're one strong AF woman who I have huge respect for. Breathtaking postpartum by @mother.ly See more

20.01.2022 KIND WORDS Sarah was one of the first women I ever sat in circle with. I remember feeling deeply moved (& a tad intimidate!) by her courage, ability to hold space for herself & her unwavering conviction to always speak her truth. When Sarah gifted me these words I was considering studying midwifery. Although, it didn't take me long to realise I wouldn't be able to hold space & stand by women in the way my heart desired.... So with a little time, patience & trust...I have now found myself here on this path. Thank you Sarah for seeing my gifts before I could see & own them myself. You words will forever connect me to my WHY. #kindwords #storytime #womensupportwomen #womenscircles See more

19.01.2022 Yes the rumour is true... For many moons I was operating at full capacity, but since taking a leap of faith & making this my full-time 'work' I am now able to facilitate many more pockets of peace for you to melt into. I will be holding space & providing treatments TUES - SATURDAY. My current clinic times can be found under the BOOK NOW section of my website. Along with an overview of my services.... This all said, I still only hold space for a maximum of 4-5 beautiful humans each day (for sustainability purposes). So, if you've been thinking about receiving a treatment from me (but couldn't find a time)...take this as a gentle nudge to prioritise yourself some TLC . See more

19.01.2022 TRUTH This is a small extract from a musing which you can now read in full on my blog (link in bio) It's an honest and raw heartshare which dives into my first appt with a Gynecologist & how it catapulted me to reclaim my body, womb & health as a woman.... I expand on what I wish I'd known & considered prior to reaching out for fertility support. And it became the reason & foundation for my conscious conception journey (more on that another day!). *Please note I am not a medical or allied health advisor, my words are based on my lived experience. I always advocate that you do your own research in regards to your health. See more

18.01.2022 #NAIDOC week celebrates the history, culture & achievements of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples. Or in this case Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Nyami (women/woman). Connection, culture, community, life-giver (birthing on country), ritual, stronger together, respect for the land, generations of love, newborn Mothers & wise Elders guiding the way forward...... Are just some of the words which come to mind when I pause & take in these magical moments captured of Aboriginal women. #commonground #reconciliation #alwayswasalwayswillbe #gunditjmara #naidocweek #aboriginalart #aboriginawomen See more

18.01.2022 Hey beautiful soul, I noticed we've had a few new faces join us here (welcome) so I thought i'd take a moment to share a few truths about me so we can become better acquainted... My favourite herbal tea is tulsi cinnamon rose by @organicindiaoz ,... I'm blessed to have a powerful circle of women in my life (we gather on the full moon), I'm currently completing my dip in remedial massage @pure_academy , I've always had an interest in energy, holistic healing, massage & magic , My approach to energy & bodywork is grounded yet a tad spiritual in nature, I feel most fullfilled when I'm creating beautiful spaces for women to connect with themselves & other women in, Last year I birthed my very own drum with @embodiments_dance & it is a sacred experience I recommend every woman to do. Now it's your turn, if you feel called why not share a quick truth about yourself below . Epic by @lanilouisephotography

16.01.2022 KIND WORDS The honour of holding space for women will never be lost on me. The more immerse myself into my vision & the offerings I wish to facilitate for the women in this community...the more I find myself connecting with the most beautiful souls...... Within & outside of my clinic. Thank you to all the women who entrust me to hold space for them, TY to the women who allow me the deep honour of nurturing them throughout pregnancy and TY to the Mothers who bring their newborns to their treatments so I may meet them & shower them with love from outside the womb . I am so excited for what the futures holds & all the ways i am envisioning I can nurture the women of this community . #bringon2021 #deeplygrateful #staytuned See more

16.01.2022 Hi lovely woman , Even in my absence this community has been growing so I thought I'd do a small introduction for those new faces... My name is Janelle & I'm a #postpartumdoula , woman-centred bodyworker & an Intuitive space holder in #warrnambool . ... It was my own struggles with fertility, conception & burn out that fueled my passion in women's health, cyclical living & nurturing the feminine. And it was my own experience with the health system which inspired me to create a space & services which honoured the sacred transitions of womanhood. And while these experiences have been & still are challenging, I am so grateful for the lessons, fiery passion & deep empathy I have uncovered along the way. And now I'd love to here from you! Why not say hello below & share with me 3 things you absolutely LOVE about being a woman... #gettoknowme See more

15.01.2022 Birth can be & should be an empowering rite of passage for ALL women. But for some women, this is not their reality or lived experience. Birth trauma isn't something as a collective we should be striving to normalise. Yes, let's raise awareness, but don't further normalise.... Birth trauma is NOT a by-product of birth. Birth trauma is a by-product of obstetric violence, intervention, a distrust in birth, fearmongering, coercion, manipulation of authority, uniformed consent and or non-consent. And because this behaviour has long been normalised ("you have a healthy baby, you should be grateful") it's no surprise that 1 in 3 women are left traumatised by their own babies births. Birthing women's voices are going unheard, their values dismissed/underminded & their bodies violated. So to the Birthing woman who is 1 in 3, the birth process didn't let you down, your body isn't broken nor did it fail you. The system did. And this is not OK. #birthtrauma #birthtraumaawarenessweek See more

14.01.2022 Last Thursday was my very last day holding space in my home clinic in Verdon st . Looking around the space I'd created I paused to reflect on the heartfelt conversations, growth (in myself & clients) & utter magic that had been co-created there. All I felt was immense gratitude...... Gratitude I'd followed my heart & stumbled upon my purpose. Gratitude for all those who had entrusted me to hold space for them (& in doing so turned my vision into a reality) Gratitude that the call of my heart had been louder than my fears Gratitude that I'd had such a beautiful space to begin my career within Gratitude I'd been brave enough to just begin, even before I'd felt fully 'ready' Gratitude that all the skills I'd acquired prior seemed to flow naturally now I'd found the right foundation Gratitude for the support I'd received over the past 2yrs which had made everything possible Gratitude for the ease that had followed since the moment I'd say YES to myself & this vision Gratitude that what had started as a side hustle was now infact my full-time work And of course excitement that this ending infact marked the beginning of a brand new chapter in my life ... #newbeginnings #newlocation See more

10.01.2022 KIND WORDS It's been a long pause between posts for me. Life has been full in the most enriching of ways. I've been holding space for my wonderful clients...... Completing further studies in preganacy massage & Postpartum Doula support... While also nearing closer towards securing my Diploma in Remedial massage (just need restrictions to lift!!)... Alongside this, just like you, I've been moving through all the highs & lows that life itself can present. But as for right now, I feel like Spring is beginning to lure me out from a deep winter slumber. And I'm incredibly excited to harness the rebirth energy of Spring ! So, this is me saying HELLO lovely woman . Why not say Hello below & share with me how you chose to spend your Winter months... See more

09.01.2022 An extract from a musing which you can now find on my blog (link in bio) It's an honest and raw heartshare which dives into my first appt with a Gynecologist & how it catapulted me to reclaim my body, womb & health as a woman. I shed light on what I wish I'd known (or considered) at the beginning of my own pre-conception journey.... What I hope is if you're in a simular phase of womanhood, it inspires you to take radical self-responsibility for your journey. To use your voice, ask questions, craft your own experience & to form a deeper relationship with your body/womb. If my words resonate with you, I would love for you to leave some below. *Please note I am not a medical or allied health advisor, my words are based on my lived experience. 08.01.2022 For those who have visited my clinic, you will know who this little fella is . But if you haven't, I'd like you to meet Milo, the resident healer in a fur coat. I used to try & keep it 'professional' & leave Milo out of the clinic...but he had other plans.... These days, he's very much apart of my space (+ consults). He often looks at me with those little brown eyes & says..."yano their here to see me Mum don't you?" Which after being asked to capture a selfie for a client last night, with Milo in her arms...I think he might be right . #furryhealers #furbaby See more

07.01.2022 I'm not sure when it became 'OK' or apart of general discussion to ask a woman (& expect an answer) when she is either: 1) planning to have a baby Or 2) add another member to her family.... So may this be a gentle reminder, from me to you, that this Q (or one simular) is not OK. For many women (myself included) TTC isn't a straight forward journey. And Q's like these ones, as simple as it may seem to you, maybe very emotionally triggering for a woman who is struggling silently to concieve. And on the flipside, for a woman who either doesn't wish to have another child OR any children at all - you project societal expectation/guilt apon her that perhaps she should. Lastly, to be very frank, if a woman doesn't share with you her choices on reproduction or her fertility journey itself...it's none of your business. We shouldn't be placing women in positions where they lie (so you feel more comfortable) or they feel obligated to explain their beliefs/story/choices - when they don't want to. So, to recap: open ended Q's like the above are not welcome in the sphere of reproduction, family starting or conception. Unless you're invited into the conversation first. And even then, please be kind & simply hold space. See more

07.01.2022 Within my clinic you needn't dim or hide your womanhood...rather I welcome & encourage you to embrace it all. I am here to & am deeply passionate about holding space for the full spectrum of your womanhood, therefore... Your baby is welcome... Breastfeeding is welcome Menstruation blood is welcome Body hair is welcome Curves are welcome Stretch marks are welcome Postpartum bodies are welcome Abortion is welcome Early birth is welcome Infertility is welcome Tears are welcome Joy is welcome Grief is welcome Your voice & desires are welcome All of YOU, lovely woman, is welcome here. #youarewelcomehere See more

04.01.2022 Welcome lovely, I am Janelle . Some fresh faces have joined this little community lately so I thought I'd reintroduce myself... I'm a fierce advocate & space holder for women's voices, choices, stories & bodies.... I believe that in creating safe spaces for all women to practice using their voices it will enable them to speak their truths in their day to day lives . I'm an advocate for a woman's inner healer & her ability to hold space & heal herself. I believe my role is to support women, you, to remember her own power & reconnect with her inner compass. I'm incredibly passionate about women's holstic health. Which is inclusive of women's bodies, menstural health, fertility support, pregnancy, birth & postpartum care. And everything these journeys can encompass. I believe womanhood & motherhood should be viewed & approached as sacred women's business. It's through my evolving vision & services that I aim to provide this (& so much more) to the women of my community. So thats a snippet of me! Why not say hello below & perhaps share what inspired you to join this community See more

04.01.2022 It breaks my heart that many women go through pregnancy without ever truly feeling heard, honoured or celebrated. It breaks my heart that our health system fails to see pregnant women as the sacred Goddesses they truly are. It breaks my heart that many pregnant women don't have access to safe spaces where they can unpack their anxieties or worries around birth & motherhood without further projections. ... But my work is here to change that. During every pregnancy massage I lovingly... Hold space for women to voice their feelings & emotions - without judgement, Remind women of their innate birthing abilities, Encourage women to set strong boundaries, Guide women to trust in their bodies & babies, Remind women that they always have a choice, Encourage women to consider #postpartum planning, Affirm that their birth desires matter & deserve to be respected, And mirror to every woman that she IS sacred & should be treated as such. You see, what I provide is SO much more than a massage...I nurture & awaken a woman's belief in HERself. Absolutely stunning #maternity capture by Jess from @simplewild.photography See more
