24.01.2022 FAULT - RE: Compatibility Issue Telstra NBN Modem & BOSCH RSC+ App Unfortunately there were issues with some Telstra modems and the RSC+ app which Telstra put there hand up and claimed responsibility though they won’t say that directly. Telstra have only supplied firmware updates for 2 of there Smart Gen 2 routers/modems LH1000, DJA0230 and DJA0231 if one of these is the modem you have on site and for some reason has not received the FW upgrade you may need to try a man...ual search for the FW update to take effect. Though if your Telstra modems are not either of those 2 units then I would then suggest you or your client contact Telstra direct and request a new replacement unit. Bosch tech support confirming what I have Advised. Please also have a look at a Bosch Technical Bulletin in the link below, https://newsletter.boschsecurity.com/ov Thank you for providing the model number. Your customer is using Telstra Smart Modem DJA0230. We have done several tests on this Modem in our office and confirmed this Modem has issue with communicating to Bosch RSC+ app. Then we contacted Telstra engineering team about this. Their engineer provided us another model DJA0231. We have validated it as well and confirmed this model is working fine with Bosch RSC+ app. I am not sure if Telstra engineering team have released new Firmware on DJA0230 or not. You can advise your customer to give Telstra Service team a call to confirm. It seems Telstra provides many different types of modems. As far as I know, Telstra engineering team only provided firmware updates on LH1000 and DJA0231. They have not provided the firmware updates for your client’s modem DJA0230. And we have done several tests on DJA0230 and confirmed this modem has issue on working with Bosch RSC+ app. So we contacted Telstra engineering team then they provided us another modem DJA0231. We confirm DJA0231 can work with Bosch RSC+ app without any problem. Ensure you are contacting us for a working solution so we can co-ordinate the works between BOSCH and Telstra.
