25.01.2022 The eve of Quilpie and District Swimming Carnival and the pool is ready to hear the splashes of the swimmers and the war cry of the houses. Good luck to all swimmers and make sure you bring a heap of water as it’s going to be a hot one.

24.01.2022 Hi Everyone I am just advising that I will be heading to Brisbane at the end of the week. I am unsure for how long as my Dad is losing his battle with cancer, hence I need to go. In the meantime we will be maintaining as much consistency with programs as possible with the assistance of Rebecca Andrade and Emily Tully when she can. ... We may have to change times of classes or combine some. Please be patient with us while we work it out. Changes will take affect as of Saturday. Please keep your good communication up re your attendance and it’s even more important now so that I can streamline scheduling for the girls. 22.01.2022 Alina & Bec are taking on the Starlight Super Swim Challenge for 30 days from 26th January - 24th February 2021. Alina is aiming for 32klms and Bec is aiming for 14klm over the 30 days and we are putting the request out to everyone if you can chip in with a donation to help support seriously sick kids and their families around Australia. 19.01.2022 Kiosk COVID changes. We have revised our COVID plan for service at the kiosk. We are constantly reviewing this as it’s new for us but also due to the awesome n...umbers we are getting we weren’t expecting the traffic at the kiosk. I know that we are lucky in that our numbers for covid cases still sit at zero but we still have to follow covid requirements regardless what anyone else is doing. We are in fact one of the best places to be due to chlorine being a disinfectant but we also have to take into consideration that myself and AAA staff are in contact with a lot of people (550 through gate for first two weeks) Soon we will work closely again with our senior population in who are most at risk so we definitely don’t want to put them, ourselves or anyone else at risk. The plans we are following are in consultation with aquatic industry organisation and leaders. 11.01.2022 Swimming Carnival Requirements All parents & Visitors attending are required to sign in at the front gate using the QScan Guest Checker Code or if you don't have a phone, please complete the COVID register with your full details. Parents & Visitors are to be seated in the designated areas, separate to the students, which will be under the cream shade sails and 2 grassed areas as you enter the pool complex. ... Food / drink orders for parents & visitors are to be placed by texting your order to the number displayed around the seating areas. If you are sending money with your children for additional food, their house teacher will be required to text this order through.
