19.01.2022 136-YEAR-OLD WOOLSHEDS FACE-LIFT The largest woolshed of its kind in the world will get a face-lift this year, thanks to some handy work from training stone...masons. The 136-year-old Cordillo Downs Station woolshed, near Innamincka in the states remote far north, lost part of its roof in a freak storm two years ago. A team of tradespeople will work on the building in June while learning traditional methods of preserving historic sites. HSR Australia Project Manager, Mitch Cleghorn, said it will be exciting to see the shed restored. "These places really tell a story about the way we lived in the landscape historically," Mr Cleghorn said. "They can be conduits for knowledge and information, theyre a way to interact with our past and they sort of have this unity and identity written into their very fabric."

08.01.2022 123 Claisebrook Rd, Perth. Approved 5-0 - MetroWest JDAP 20/12/2017. Possibly the most iconic site Ive worked on to date. This project has been trying, but ultimately a pleasure due to the Client maintaining such vision and determination. Now the batching plant have their marching orders, this gorgeous little pocket of Perth can now flourish under more modern TOD principles.... Adding some street-trees to the narrow verge is the only substantial change to this image and we will be working with the City of Vincent to realise this vision. This site never made the City of Perth (EPRA) or the City of Vincents Heritage Register - despite being a largely intact 1890s gold-rush era building.
