Relocation assistance to Kalgoorlie may be an option for the right candidates. * **Please note - This is not a FIFO opportunity** YOU @ ABBA Responsibilities - Installation of HDPE pipelines & dewatering equipment - Butt welding of polyethylene plastic pipelines - Use of extrusions & injection techniques, Socket Welding Etc - Operate & Maintain poly-welding equipment - Load and Unload trucks with equipment - Setting up and loading poly-welding machines. - Dewatering duties in active mining environments. - Complete Pre-start checklists on equipment and vehicles. Essential Skillset - Sound communication skills - Telehandler, Excavator & Skid Steer tickets - HDPE Butt Welding ticket - Forklift & High-Risk Elevated Work Platform - Construction Industry OHS White card - Australian Driver’s Licence - National Police Clearance - Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening. - HDPE pipe welding mining experience necessary - Experience in operation of Dixon Trac, McElroy, Ritmo & World Poly - Keen eye for detail and demonstrated commitment to safety. 19.01.2022 Another great project executed to perfection by the team at ABBA! We were engaged by one of our most valued clients for the design, installation and commissioning of their new Tailigs dam. In total, 7500m of pipe was installed, 200 spigots complete with ABBA custom pinch clamps, PVC droppers, 18 isolation valves, road crossings and the list goes on!... The team successfully completed these works a week ahead of schedule, no incidents and well under budget. All savings passed onto the client and not one variation to the scope. 19.01.2022 It might be a public holiday here in W.A but the team are smashing out this first spool package for an upcoming chiller install. 450NB Sched 10 Stainless spools for another great client of ABBA Engineering. The team working around the clock to get these fabricated and packaged for despatch to site. Our Poly and Fitting team will then take over and assist with the onsite installation and tie ins....
