19.01.2022 ALPHA IS BACK OPEN AND TRADING, Due to covid 19 we will be adding changes to the way we run our business. We will be amending our trading hours and offering a new service which will be up and running by next week if it goes to plan by then (Update on this idea very soon). Unfortunately Saturdays we will no longer be trading or doing a late night on Wednesdays but this may vary in the foreseeable future on up coming events. Mondays will now be open for trade. 11.01.2022 So I would like to thank everyone that supported me by helping me raise funds for the Movember foundation. This year was the biggest yet with a combined amount of $1201. Every donation counted no matter how big or small, i had donations from $1.15 all the way to $101. I also understand that there are so many charities that run all year and some have to draw a line at where the donating has to end.... Fundraisers like these are designed to not only accumulate charity money but to get us talking about what it is for, making these topics easier for people to learn about so we understand them better and raise the awareness needed to combat the condition/illness as early as possible. 10.01.2022 Covid-19 (Corona Virus) Update for our customers. ~ Part 2 of 2 ~ 2- We are OPEN with our normal trading times and we are practicing a high level of hygiene as always but are stepping it up a notch by implementing these procedures into our daily routine to protect you our selves and all our family's as follows: We are only going to have customers inside the shop that are in our chair having their haircut (unless they are a support person or having their child's hai...r cut). We will have a list that we will put you on with your name and number and give you an estimated wait time so you can sit out side or return closer to your estimated wait time. We will not be doing full face shaves or facial waxing/plucking. We will be disinfecting our barber chairs and tools used after every haircut by using hospital grade disinfectant and pure alcohol. We will be washing our hands with hot soapy water after each haircut. We will be requesting customers to use hand sanitiser or wash their hands with hot soapy water when arriving and departing. This virus has had a massive impact on businesses and families and we aim to make our services safe and available to our community by doing our bit by showing that we are taking this serious by implementing these measures and encourage all customers to support the new process. 05.01.2022 ALPHA IS BACK OPEN Due to covid 19 we will be changing our trading days and hours starting this Saturday. The main change will be that we are going to go to a Monday to Friday 9:30am to 5:00pm work days/times, meaning we are going to be closed Saturday's and Sundays and not doing a late night on Wednesdays.... As most of our clients and friends know since opening we have had to balance running the business and tending to Family from Grandma to now our little ones and we think that with our little family growing and to minimise the contact with our little ones within the shop by switching to a mon to fri roster would be best so we don't have to bring the kiddies into the shop on Saturdays and can concentrate on our services by adding on a Monday. Its a massive change for us and we know its somthing that our customers will have to adjust to but we hope you all can understand and support this change. We are OPEN with our normal trading times but have put into place new procedures to help protect you, our selves and our family's as follows:... 1 - We are asking you our customers please if you answer yes to any of these points below to please refrain from coming in till a 2 week window has lapsed since contact or last symptom. Have you arrived from holidays from over seas or been incontact with anyone that has? Are you sick or been in contact with anyone that has been sick with symptoms of fever, cough, sore throat and sneezing? Have you or anyone you have come into contact with been told to self isolate because you or they might have come into contact with the corona virus? *Under the circumstances and situation we are all in we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone that is showing signs of what most would call symtoms of a cold or flue.
