25.01.2022 Our T20 Cricket Fundraiser will be raising money for the Australian bushfire appeal. Funds will go to helping communities and families devastated by this ongoing disaster #givingtogetherness

24.01.2022 Sunny Heights have the pitch all ready for tomorrow night... despite the rain! Looking forward to seeing everyone for a great night. Starting at 5:30!

22.01.2022 People are so generous even in the face of hardship. This is incredible

20.01.2022 Grateful for everyone’s generosity today. Thanks to Bunnings in West Footscray too. This helps us help so many families. We are aware that some of our families have been effected by the terrible fires and we are already looking at ways of supporting them directly. #givingtogetherness

19.01.2022 How good is this???

18.01.2022 So grateful for so much, and to so many at tonight’s 2nd Annual T20 cricket match. To Steve and Kieren and the Victoria Police cricket team for your continued partnership with us and for your generous contribution to our community. To Shayna and Houdini from the Mounted Police. To Nick and Matt and the crew at Sunshine Heights Cricket Club for your support of our foundation on so many levels, so very much appreciated. To the Brimbank Leo’s for your support tonight. To Daniel... Mulino and Ewan for your presence and to the Abbey Solo Foundation family who continue to bring Abbey’s vision of #givingtogetherness alive in the hearts of so many families. Such wonderful examples of community spirit in action. Funds raised tonight will go to support those families with young ones with cancer who come from communities effected by summer’s devastating bush fires. See more

10.01.2022 This is such wonderful news for the families of kids fighting cancer on Kookaburra at RCH! Abbey’s dream was to buy a house one day for this very reason. Thankful for people like Danny who have such big hearts (and in his case wallets too)

08.01.2022 Our sizzling sausages are ready and so as our A Team, stop by and say hi!

07.01.2022 The A+ Abbey Solo Foundation remembers Abbey’s life and her impact on her community. Abbey’s Foundation assists young children with cancer, honouring her dream... that patients and families should be together during times of treatment at the The Royal Children's Hospital. It was great to be with Abbey’s family at a special T20 cricket match between a combined Abbey Allstars - Sunshine Heights Cricket Club team and a Victoria Police XI, raising funds for families impacted by both cancer and this summer’s devastating bushfires. Thank you to all the volunteers, players and spectators who came together to support two very special causes.

07.01.2022 I can see clearly now..... and feeling grateful.

05.01.2022 September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month. No child should have to die from cancer. Let’s honour the memory of our beautiful angels, as well as those who have survived. Australia has moved forward in their fight for better funding, treatments and cures. But we can always do BETTER.

02.01.2022 Like so many of you, our thoughts are with the people affected by the bushfires around Australia. Our colleagues at Australian Red Cross are working tirelessly... to provide disaster relief and recovery funds to people affected by the bushfires. Just like Lifeblood, the Australian Red Cross is powered by you, the generous donors who continue to provide the much-needed funds, time, and donations that will make a difference to our fellow Australians affected by the fires. More detail on the vital work they are doing to help people in the bushfire affected areas can be found at https://www.redcross.org.au/news//your-donations-in-action As we continue to do what we can to support the nation, we are thankful at this stage for the minimal impact on our blood donor centres. All donor centres remain operating to their normal hours, and we'll keep you updated if this changes. We continue to need 29,000 blood donations each week. If you can, book an appointment here https://don8blood.com/2ZQF9DO
