25.01.2022 Mathias & Nicole came over from Dahme Germany to renew their vows on the Beach at Budgewoi on 25th January 2019,..and have a road trip up through northern NSW. It was a beautiful sunny sky and Johanna had organised a great reception for them. It was #abeautifuldayweddings1 But see the cake it was amazing and I guess we all know what their preference of alcohol is now.

24.01.2022 Dave & Catherine committed on 27th October 2018 at Toowoon bay. they had their legal/elopement ceremony earlier in the year in May and this was a ceremony for all their friends and family and also the celebration ceremony. they had the most perfect day in the park, with clear blue skys and their heartfelt vows were bringing some tears to eyes. A lovely warm couple who i have had the joy of being a participant twice in their commitments. #Abeautifuldayweddings1

24.01.2022 Sarah & Jason married under a gorgeous sky at #hargravesbeach on 21st march 2020 with their family friends and dog in attendance. Lucky them they were my last marriage before the 5 person max rule applied and Sarah was happy and bubbly and they even were able to have a reception. Another #abeautifuldayweddings.

23.01.2022 Emily and Aaron Married on 21st September 2019 at #bellskilcare. They had a perfect day and Emily was so calm and relaxed, it then flowed onto Aaron who was a little nervous at first. Lawn games were ready for the guests to play whilst they had their photos done. It was surely #abeautifuldayweddings1

22.01.2022 Lynne & Greg married 26th January 2020 . Australia Day. they married on the beach at #CatherineHIllBay, or #Catho as its fondly known . It was a brilliant day and thankfully just as it was time to marry the weather cooled down for us with some cloud cover. Another #ABeautifulDayWeddings.

22.01.2022 Had a great Mid March on a getaway with my mum and my Aunty. We all felt the heat, and i got to have some wedding chat without boring anyone (maybe mum). Swim in nice spots and relax. And Eat.! My Aunty was appointed in the 70s and was one of the first celebrants in Australia, so she has heaps of Red Books. Those were the days of 5 weddings in a day, and the celebrant made a lot of the rules . She planted the seed in me to pursue it. So glad i decided to as there are soo many benefits and very little negatives. Mum is on the left and Ei the Right. or in the middle. Great looking ladies.

21.01.2022 Kelly & Jack married on 25th January at #ToowoonBay. It was a very hot humid day and the fact they chose a very short n sweet ceremony, under 8 minutes, worked well. Their girls were in the bridal party and looked as cute as buttons. Kellys dad is of Balinese origins so we had a lovely blessing/offering on the signing table.

21.01.2022 Reece , my son, and Jess his beautiful bride, married at Bimbadgen Estate in the #huntervalley on 31st August 2019. It was a very special event for me, as I gained a new daughter, and got to witness their happiness The weather was iffy, but we all had a great time. Eat, drink, be merry, dance . we did it all and the rain held off for the afternoon. It was a lovely short n sweet ceremony and we managed to have quite a few laughs especially at my husbands dancing.

21.01.2022 Hang in there all you loved up couples. This crisis will end, we will recover and events, weddings, fun times and smiles will gradually come back into our lives. If nothing else this will make us stronger and more grateful for what we once took for granted . Always helps to find a good in the bad. Weve still got love.

20.01.2022 October is always a very busy month for the wedding industry, but this year i decided to holiday instead. I had a great time in Vietnam and managed to be in the midst of a few weddings, even though I wasnt lucky enough to be officiating them. Being a celebrant, any wedding is always of interest to me. Especially where different customs etc are practised. I love all weddings. Ba Na Hill near Hoi An, is obviously a popular place for couples to get their wedding photos. I... managed to snap a few, and one bride even gave me permission to happy snap her. It was Different for the weddings in the city of Hanoi where they are squashed in, on the footpath and onto the street just set up alongside the busy traffic. If you have been to Hanoi, then you know what the congestion of motor bikes in peak hour is like. thats not counting buses, cars and trucks. I can only imagine the noise and smell whilst eating the wedding dinner. Considering everyone in Hanoi wears a mask, I found it interesting We actually saw 3 of these pop up wedding venues on our last day in the city. I guess you just adapt to your circumstances. 19.01.2022 Lindy and Graeme married At #Bateaubay on the beach on 9th March 2019, with all their family and friends . The singing on the beach was beautiful, She had a lovely voice and complemented the occasion perfectly. If you read this send me your name? 19.01.2022 Rachel & Joel #married on 3rd November at Lakes surf club #Budgewoi. It was a scorcher to start, then the cool winds kicked in and it turned into a pleasant afternoon. They decided on a family unity ceremony with the sands and little Aiden was in his glory after not really wanting to be part of the ceremony to start. Rach & Joel were a little nervous but a nice short n sweet ceremony and they were fine. #Abeautifuldayweddings1

17.01.2022 Winter is soon upon us. I sort of look forward to it. Very briefly though, then Im over it. Its cold and I miss my weddings. It is a very slow season for a celebrant. What will i do with my saturdays??? Im sure i will catch up on my R & R, friends, family and hibernate a little

It was a gorgeous (not too hot) February day and the kids joined the bride and groom for a blending of the sands ceremony to combine their new family. 16.01.2022 Libby & Rod married at #Norahhead on 27th March 2020 under the new rules of 2 guests only. It was still lovely as their children came and watched from their cars in the car park . They didnt care about the new rules, they just wanted to get married. It was another #abeautifuldayweddings and the weather was perfect, so that was a blessing for them. We all kept our social distancing rule in mind and just for fun Rod & Libby briefly did too.

15.01.2022 Lorren & Shaun married on 5th November in a very intimate elopement in #toukley. That was the legal ceremony witnessed by their parents, but they had the great fortune of having a symbolic commitment on the beautiful Greek Island Santorini, whilst they were travelling through Europe. And to them, thats when the marriage began. Another lovely easy going couple I had the pleasure to be a part of their day. #Abeautifuldayweddings1

15.01.2022 Libby & Damien married on 24th October At Wallarah Bay. It was a lovely ceremony with two lovely readings by guests bringing a lovely personal element. The colour scheme of Yellow and Red was in every element and they put a lot of thought into this. Their daughter and son were included in the bridal party and a candle was lit by them and their witnesses as each signed the paperwork.

15.01.2022 Kevin & Kevin, or The Kevs as they are fondly known, married on 2nd February 2019 at Belmont #abeautifuldayweddings1. The Kevs travelled from their hometown located in Scotland to be married in Australia, and with their lovely handwritten, heartfelt vows, it was a gorgeous ceremony. They had some nice Scottish weather with a little drizzle on the day; and of course a bagpiper to play a tune or two. I hope i get to Scotland next year or so, and Kevin can give me a new hairstyle . 15.01.2022 Kate & Mitch Married on 16th November 2019 @ #lakemacquariesailingclub. It was a gorgeous day and they had a lot of family and friends present, to share in their happiness. It was very festive, the sun was shining, the sky blue and the water as our backdrop. #Abeautifuldayweddings1 Jude bought a tear to Mitchs eye as well as his lovely bride, as they walked down the aisle.

13.01.2022 My gorgeous friends Tracey Whiteman and Mick married on 13th October 2018 at Catherine Hill Bay . It was too windy for the beach, but we still got the lovely views up on the deck of Surf club. The combined new family all did a combining of the sands ceremony. Trace and Kane have gone from 2 to about 22. I was totally honoured to be able to marry them. Tracey has been a big part of my life for half my life. It was a beautiful wedding with them both saying their own hand...written vows. I can gush over them now, but never at the ceremony as the tissues would have had to come out, and I may never have completed the ceremony. I dont often get the chance to marry my nearest and dearest. So its always a great experience. bring on the next one. You know who you are!!! 12.01.2022 Gae & Carol married at #lintongardens Somersby on 15th October 2018 in a lovely intimate ceremony in the onsite chapel. It was a short moving ceremony for two gorgeous ladies I had the privilege to marry. I had such a nice time getting to know them, they are so suited to each other, each very relaxed and friendly. its just great that the girls can now be legally recognised as a couple. #abeautifuldayweddings1.

11.01.2022 Rebecca & Adam married at Point Wolstoncoft on 22nd June 2019 . It was a birthday partial surprise intimate wedding. They had their three lovely kids in the bridal party ; sadly one just couldnt stay awake for the ceremony. Hopefully he partied later. It was amazingly!! great weather. We avoided the wind and rain. It has to be A good sign. My first winter wedding and only a couple more to follow. Everybody waits for Spring.

11.01.2022 Kayla & Nyoman married at #Belmont 16s on 10th November 2018 on a gorgeous rooftop to the sounds of a live saxaphone & cello. We had a little Hindu ceremony which was my first, and a breaking of the glass to combine their two different faiths. It was very moving and relaxed. #Abeautifuldayweddings1#. Their was quite a wind blowing on the day, a celebrant sure does need a few non flared dresses for these days.

11.01.2022 Danielle and Samuel married on 10th October 2020 at Randy Hill on their parents property. It was nearly a perfect day for them, the weather was magnificent, the venue serene and scenic , but due to border closures, a lot of their guests couldn't attend. Danielle's brother and bridesmaid among them. They still married though, and Im so glad they did as the wedding industry has really taken a downturn this year and its so nice to be able to marry a couple of people in love and be part of the happiness . 08.01.2022 Jess & Nathan Married at Shelly Beach Golf Club on 6th September 2019 with all their friends and family present. We started the ceremony with a loving candle lighting for loved ones missing. They had a gorgeous day and now theyre off honeymooning. All the best to you both in the future.

08.01.2022 Jo and Daren married at home in #Forrestersbeach on Saturday 9th November in front of their family & friends. It was a lovely day, and a happy relaxed ceremony. Another #Abeautifyuldayweddings1, Darens Dad presented his deceased wifes wedding ring for Daren to give to Jo. That was a very moving moment. I have to say, i was really enjoying their playlist whilst i packed up . Another lovely couple i had the good fortune of meeting.

08.01.2022 Joanne and Martin #married at Wyong Creek on Saturday 14th March in front of their children and family and friends. It rained AGAIN!! but they werent bothered, Looking into their faces, feeling their vibe, I could see they were happy to just be there together and having their #wedding. I could not help myself i just had to pinch a snake from the lolly buffet before I left.

We were lucky to be out of the wind a little down in the hollow and enjoy the lovely view over rock pool and the lighthouse. 06.01.2022 Ronald & Foon married on 6th May at Secret Garden Weddings . It was another gorgeous day and #abeautifuldayweddings1. the sun was out, the gardens were green and enormous, the 5 of us fitted in no problem. Im hoping restrictions will be lifted again soon, so my spring weddings will still go ahead.

06.01.2022 I have been very lucky to have had 2 ceremonies for international couples so far for 2019, visiting our gorgeous shores with the intent of marrying and renewing vows, and of course enjoying our lovely country. A lovely couple visiting from Germany Mathias and NIcole, and also a lovely couple visiting from Scotland.. The Kevs. I have some amazing photos of both which i will post on my next quiet weekend. Its just such a busy time of year, and i always like to have a vacay (generally in Tomakin or the gold coast), But!!! its back to work now and bring on 2019. Unfortunately i also work 3 days a week, Im wishing weddings and ceremonies could pay the bills, but, its generally a sat or fri only.

06.01.2022 Guy & Kirsty married at Shelly Beach Golf club on 3rd May 2019 . The weather turned a little bleak and pushed us indoors, but the bride and groom still had a beautiful backdrop through the floor to ceiling windows for their ceremony. Their heartfelt vows brought tears to many eyes. Mine included. Kirsty and Guy were happy and very loved up for their special day. 05.01.2022 Matt & Toni #married on 22nd February 2020 at home in #Cooranbong with a lovely relaxed friendly ceremony. Their little son was there being extremely well behaved and lots of family who were all really friendly and helpful to me. I had a nice hour chatting to guests after the ceremony. 05.01.2022 Adam & Hayley married on 2nd March 2019 at the family home in #Terrigal. They did a lovely job of decorating the garden and giving it a lovely rustic feel. Hayley and Adam were so easy to work with, and with their families close by, it was the perfect ceremony, where they exchanged their handwritten heartfelt vows. 05.01.2022 Erin and Matt, married on 6th July 2019 at #norahhead at home. It was a lovely casual fun ceremony with everyone enjoying the vows they composed. They had a medley of one liners or so, from various different songs out of the the 80s and they put it together to form a heartfelt promise to each other. Another lovely friendly warm couple I had the pleasure to be a part of their special day.

05.01.2022 Roimata and Jerome married on 7th December 2018 at #cavesbeach. It was a lovely sunny day, but really windy and we had to nail everything down, hold the papers from maybe blowing into the water, and just forget about the hair LOL. Roimatas hair was still looking lovely at the end. The wind even blew a drone to ; who knows where , belonging to the videotographers . Hope they found it. A bunch of their guests sung the music and they had lovely harmonious voices. It suited the wedding perfectly. Another #abeautifuldayweddings1

05.01.2022 One more wedding for 2018 on Friday, and its going to be a perfect day @ #cavesbeach. Ive been very lucky to have just had 2 glorious weeks of R & R with 3 amazing ladies in Thailand. We had so many laughs and lots of fun and now we are all home safe and sound. Back at work; as you do. AT least my weekend work there is lots of love and happiness going around. Yay for those couples that choose to marry. Now for the Next few weeks which is full of christmas cheer, partying and being with the ones we love, and thinking of the ones we cant be with.

04.01.2022 There is nothing more pleasant than a holiday. Other than a good wedding of course, LOL I just had the great fortune to spend 11 wonderful days with 3 of my besties in Thailand and we had nothing but fun and laughter. A bit of pain as well for one of us. My first time in Thailand was 1980 and over the years and my return trips a lot has definitely changed. As it does worldwide. !! More buildings, less forests and animals. Big crowds and unfortunately for us travellers , the cost of everything. But we managed to still see lots of beauty, meet heaps of friendly people, and grab some bargains .

02.01.2022 Jessie & Josh married at #Norahhead on 4th May 2019 on a gorgeous sunny May day. We stood above the beach on the cliff tops of Jenny Dixon Beach and listened to the waves below, and me of course, on my microphone!!! It was a perfect setting , and a lovely intimate short & sweet ceremony. Short and sweet ceremonies as I like to call them are very popular now. Its always great to do a wedding at my home suburb.
