We understand the importance of continuity of services, and we remain committed to providing high-quality and ongoing services to all our families. ... As you are aware, the situation at hand is constantly evolving. ABi is closely monitoring updates from the government and health authorities, and the safety and of our families and staff is paramount. As such we have implemented measures on top of our usual protocols. Please note that currently our clinic and home appointments are still going ahead. However, as noted above, this is a developing situation which may change in the upcoming weeks. We also have implemented various other alternate means to work with your family including video conferencing. 14.01.2022 The NSW Government have reached a "landmark" agreement to ensure the full rollout of the National Disability Insurance Scheme. Under the agreement, NSW will increase the annual funding contribution to the NDIS by 4 per cent per year, while the federal government will pay the balance of NDIS costs in NSW.

Our program focuses on transitioning between activities, group participation, following instructions, waiting and turn taking as well as pre-academic learning!... 10.01.2022 Language and communication tip! Did you know even typically developing children need 8-12 exposures before they learn a new word. For children with language disorders, they need to be exposed to a new word 36 times. ... Keep in mind that these are children who have language disorders, but average non-verbal cognition. Expect this number to increase for your kids with communication & intellectual delays. This just means that teaching language requires a lot of patience, and a LOT of repetition!!
