It is great to be involved in such positive outcomes for our clients. Special mentions to Lucy - power wheelchairs x 2, electric bed and mattress for complex positioning needs... Tammy - Dual electric bed and mattress for client and her partner, lift chair Bec - Riser recliner dual motor Cathy - Major bathroom mod and Neuronode Trilogy system (for Augementative and Alternative Communication - AAC) in conjunction with our speech therapy colleagues.

20.01.2022 Busy day for Ability OT today. Whilst many of the team were getting up to date with all things assistive technology at the ATSA conference - Cathy was contributing to a focus group on vocational pathways for people with brain injury with colleagues from BIRU, ABI Transitional Rehab Service, NIISQ and more. Aim - to make the return to work process easier for people after brain injury.
