I’m a big believer in balance with food and I certainly don’t buy into ‘clean eating’ - seriously what even is that?! I believe in all the time foods and sometimes foods, not good and bad foods. We all know that sugar and junk food isn’t a good choice as an ‘all the time’ food but let’s stop creating so much angst, especially in our children by telling them they should never eat su...gar or certain foods. Aren’t we better off educating around balance? It’s ok to enjoy ‘sometimes foods’ some of the time - just not all of the time. The food you eat really does play such a role in how you are able to cope with what’s going on. Your diet doesn’t need to be perfect everyday but small changes help, even when it doesn’t feel that way at the time. Forget about what you chose to eat yesterday and focus on what you’ll choose tomorrow. Focus on your gut health, it’s very connected to feeling... low and anxious.
