20.01.2022 With everything happening in the world it is going to change the way we live. No gyms, no classes but being active is so important. Looking after you is so important. This is the time to work on other ways to keep our bodies active. Today I went for a lonely (hot) walk. The quiet and stillness was amazing for my mind. Saw some wildlife, and then a refreshing dip in the big blue - invigorating! ... Going for a walk, swim, ride or run is still fine to do. But please follow the government's guidelines. 15.01.2022 What are you eating? The biggest part of managing your weight is eating right for you. As they say its 80% of the work you need to get those body goals weather its getting shreaded or loosing weight. We all have moments or guilty pleasures in regards to food, but as a basic starting point eating a diet of foods in there natural state ( unprocessed) and preparing yourself, avoiding easy already to go foods will already put you in a better place weight wise and wellness wise. Cut those chemicals and preservatives and god knows what else is in the foods hidden in those numbers and long words we dont know what we are eating and enjoy natures amazing aray of beautiful and delicious foods.

11.01.2022 As it gets more likely that we will be staying home because of darn Covid-19 it's still so important to stay healthy. Remember it's gonna be tuff, lonely, stressful. But we can workout. We can eat well. Sleep! We can look after our family. We can increase mental strength and rediscover ourselfs. And after we kick this virus's butt, we can get out on the other side and emerge with a strong mind, body and soul. What are your concerns health and fitness wise?
10.01.2022 Scary statistic. Not surprising with the world preferring a sendentry way of life, schools slashing funding in sports and cutting hours of physical education. Its setting up our kids to surrender to lifestyle diseases and risk of obesity. It doesnt mean every kid needs to be an athlete but staying active and moving is vital for growth and staying healthy.... If you are concerned your kids are not getting enough physical activity and want to find ways to find something engaging there is things around. Check your local community/rec centres as many run programs for kids and teens to encourage safe gym activities, most personal trainers are qualified to cater for teens as well, Social and sports clubs. When kids and teens are active they adopt healthy lifestyle choices. Learn the importance of good food for fuel, making those good food choices, staying active, and as well as embracing our technological world they learn breaks from screen time is needed and can be fun too.
08.01.2022 Nothing will work unless you do. This is more than just physical. More than just grinding at the gym everyday. It is work! Work mentally - get in a healthy headspace, have direction and focus. ... Eat right - the hardest part of this work, they say 80% of this work is made in the kitchen. Make good food choices, and eat enough! Seek educated and sound advice. The obvious! Training. Get the right training plan for you. Be consistant and work with a trainer to track, modify and keep you heading in the right direction. Work towards R&R. Rest! Over working does not promote consistent progress. We all need to rest, to live and enjoy life. Take that when needed. Work hard on making the best you, you can be.

01.01.2022 Is it mind over matter. Weekly I see amazing people take on that fear of the box jump. And I truly understand that feeling as u stand by that box - am I going to do it? or tear up my shins and go ass over and injure myself. And only being 5`1 these boxes feel huge. I'm still working on the biggest size. I often jump by it and see if I can clear it. I know my body can but its training it to actually perform it with confidence and the right technique. Box jump tips ... - Start with the smallest size and get your correct take of and landing softly sinking into a squat. And using the right combination of many muscles to execute the jump. It's a big one. - Use explosive exercises to train the muscles response times. - Visualize the follow through, soft landing with both feet. You can do this. - Move to higher boxes gradually as you will be repeating the process of of the initial fear and the working on the perfect jump. Happy jumping guys
