20.01.2022 And just like that AD Space is back! We are reopening on campus to see out the end of 2020! Join us tomorrow @ 1pm with ‘You, so far away’ artists, Celine Cheung and Victor Lau. Celine Sits down to chat with Victor about his art practice, which incorporates an intimate blend of photocollage, embroidery and paper-cutting. Join us in our conversation about memories, personal growth, art across cultures, and reconnecting with ourselves and the world.... -- 'You, so far away' features four emerging artists and their introspective works in diverse media. All connected by diasporic experience, the artists contemplate upon their personal and cultural identities through self-portraiture, in forms ranging from pensive works on paper to experimental photomedia and performance. These artworks meditatively express an unspoken desire for connection, a longing to bridge states of disconnect. -- AD Space is streaming live on the land of Bidjigal and Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We pay our respects to elders past and present and acknowledge that we share create and operate on unceded Aboriginal land.

Our current exhibitions 'You, so far away' and 'Stranger Thongs' are now closed, we will be sharing a digital walk through of the exhibitions soon, we can't wait to digitally show you these wonderful shows. ... Our upcoming exhibitions, performance workshops and professional development opportunities between Now - May 10th will be postponed and moved to later in 2020, we will be closely monitoring the situation and responding to any further changes.
