15.01.2022 Let’s remember our humility Since COVID19, it has certainly changed the way we interact with one another. From my observation, the social distancing has created a veil of acceptable rudeness and treating one another as though we’re all diseased. It seems as though we have forgotten our humility and humanity and our right to be treated with respect and dignity. Now I’m not saying we should break any rules here, I’m simply saying to remember that we’re all in-service to one a...nother in someway. And that service is a privilege. 07.01.2022 Be your own kind of beautiful! It’s been nearly 40 years since I’ve had short hair and it took great courage to cut it off. And yes it’s only hair, yet for many of us, hair can really impact how we feel about our femininity, our appearance and the persona we put out there of who we are.... In the past, I had gone to great lengths, literally with hair extensions put in, then maintenance every six weeks which I loved, and was happy to do it for sometime. I perceived it made me look youthful and to some extent I was way too concerned what other people thought of me. Yet in this time of Covid, it made me assess how much importance I placed on my hair for happiness, and the stress of whether I’ll have someone to maintain the extensions during this time. Too much energy expanded and unnecessary worry. I’ve always maintained that I wouldn’t be a slave to the beauty routines... haa haa and yet I was to my hair. I can’t tell you how liberating it feels to have it cut off. It honestly feels like a load off my shoulders, like a complete energy shift. Nearly a week later and I’m still feeling uplifted for doing it. It’s like saying yes to owning you wholeheartedly as you are. Simply beautiful! Elvira Alszegi www.abundancewithin.com.au
