22.01.2022 Attention members *Track closed* An update from the committee on Covid-19 and what it means for our club. Given the decisions from MANT and MSNT about the health and welfare of everyone, and current Governments restrictions of public gatherings. All motorcycle events and permits will be put on hold. This means all access to AHMA’s facilities are closed until the decision from the controlling bodies and AHMA advise otherwise. We will continue to maintain our facility, so it ...will be an easy transition back to racing when the time comes. We the committee are discussing the memberships, and we will keep you informed on what we can do. There is still costs associated with keeping the club running, as such we are working on what we can do to minimise the associated costs.

20.01.2022 HIGH PRIORITY - ATTENTION ALL MOTORSPORTS NT AFFILIATED CLUBS Executive and Management Committees NT Motorsport Clubs throughout the Northern Territory... As you may be aware, the Northern Territory Government ceased all commercial and motorsport activities at the Hidden Valley Motor Sports Complex in Darwin as of the 24th March, 2020. MotorSports NT has reviewed and assessed the latest restrictions relevant to conducting Motor Sports Events and whilst acknowledging many NT motorsport clubs have already deferred or part cancelled their upcoming season, it is prudent that the Motorsports Community adopts a whole of community consistent approach to addressing the effects of the COVID-19 virus. MotorSports NT is strongly recommending all Motorsport Clubs cease all of their Club activities throughout the NT. This cessation of activities should include racing events, practice events and membership meetings. For clubs who are required to undertake an Annual General Meeting (or any administrative meetings), it is recommended clubs contact the Justice Department to obtain the latest advice on methods of compliance within their constitutional policies and consider teleconference or other such technologies should a meeting need to proceed. MotorSports NT’s primary focus is to assist and support affiliate clubs in their efforts to comply with the current regulated restrictions, thereby reducing the potential transfer of the COVID-19 virus amongst our administrators, competitors, officials and the general public. Cessation of events will also reduce the burden on medical resources required to attend our events. MotorSports NT therefore requests all NT Motorsport Club activities throughout the Northern Territory cease forthwith and MotorSports NT, in conjunction with advice from the relevant Northern Territory Government and Federal Agencies, will undertake a review on these restrictions prior to 30th May 2020. At that time, MotorSports NT will update all member clubs, based on the available advice, the potential of a continued restriction period or the potential for clubs to resume motorsport activities. I appreciate your commitment and understanding by complying with our recommendations regarding the current restrictions relating to Motorsport Activities and look forward to a future date when motor racing once again provides a valued entertainment choice for Territorians. We are holding a RIde parks Australia Day Sunday 27th September Please see the link below for entering, if you are unable to or having trouble to use ridernet we are excepting cash payments on the day (no card facilities) fee is $40, please bring correct change. ... This event does not require a one day license, you do not need to be a member of a club this is a fun day for all riders new and old. Gates will be open 8am and riding from 9. The track will not be prepared as it would for a race meet, this is to cater for all riders.
