24.01.2022 This year our Senior’s Week Celebration will run from Mon 16th October to Friday 20th October 2017. Our destinations during Senior’s Week include a Guided Tour to the Living Legends (retired race horses), fishing at Rhyll Trout Farm and a Tea Dance party, featuring the entertainer, Paul Hogan. So get your dancing shoes on! If you are interested in attending please call 9006 6580 to secure your spot. Don’t miss out on any of the opportunities we have on offer!

11.01.2022 Flower Arranging and Pet Therapy are among the weekly activities at our centre in Richmond.

10.01.2022 According to recent ageing research there are many beneficial outcomes for people receiving pet therapy. These include a reduced need for medication, improved physical functioning, a reduction in loneliness, agitated behaviours, depression, as well as increases in engagement, well-being, and social interactions for people with dementia. We have two Pet Therapy dogs, Ziggy and Ruby who are well behaved, gentle, always up for a cuddle or a pat which makes people feel relaxed, improves mood and supports involvement and engagement in conversations about childhood/family dog memories. At the end of the session we have a room full of happy, lively faces. Our Pet Therapy Program is very popular and sessions are fortnightly on Thursday mornings. 01.01.2022 Out and About Program: Mondays 1pm Scenic Bus Trip and Afternoon Tea Alternative Wednesdays Men’s Group Outing and Picnic Alternative Wednesdays Women’s Group Outing and Picnic Thursdays Out and About Program 2 course hotel lunch and scenic drive. ... ******** A big feature of the Support Program are the frequent bus outings to destinations around and outside Melbourne. These take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The program is always varied and enables our clients to get out and about and be social with support. See more
