18.01.2022 Over the last week or so I have been called divisive from a family from Sydney who wanted to bring their family up to Gloucester to look at property. Today a Company sending "Essential Workers" to Gloucester today has told me I was "rude for not accepting their booking" someone else from that same company then rang again only to tell me I was being "discriminatory". The main consensus from all these people is, "they are fully vaccinated", my reply is but we are not, there are... a lot of people in the community, myself and my staff included, that as yet are not vaccinated. To these people, I say, please be nice and respect the policies we have introduced to keep ourselves and our community safe. Gloucester is a small community, we are all doing our best to keep Covid from getting to Gloucester. If Covid does get here, our community simply would not cope. I do not enjoy turning bookings away and it makes me sad knowing people (especially companies) will argue with a decision that was already hard enough for us to make When it is safe, we will welcome you all back with open arms, but for now please be considerate, please be kind and respect our decisions.
