02.01.2022 D I F F E R E N C E I N B R A I D S #1- BASIC BRAID- this is the most simple braid. The most popular styles are French, Dutch, and Fishtail (I will put another post on the differences between these) Usually between 1-4 braids. #2- BOX BRAID- this type of braid gets its name because it is done in square (or box) shapes on the scalp, and are individually plaited. #3- CORNROWS- this style is usually multiple thin braids, done quite tight and flat to the head. It can be... a straight back pattern or quite detailed. This style can be quite creative. Anywhere from 6 or more braids. I hope this helps anyone who is unsure of whether you're after "braids" "box braids" or "cornrows". Unfortunately, at the moment, I don't offer Box Braids. I am asked regularly if I can do this and I hope to be able to offer this soon in the future If anyone has any questions regarding braids, you're welcome to message me
