13.01.2022 Australian fintech start-up Accountants Scaled Advice Platform - A.S.A.P - is launching a digital advisory platform for SMSFs in response to the removal of the accountants’ exemption from the financial services licensing regime.

13.01.2022 The A.S.A.P. team have been working hard over the last month to ensure our platform is on target for release. It is with great pleasure that we bring the accounting world some exciting announcements. OCTOBER LAUNCH A.S.A.P. would like to invite all accountants on our mailing list to participate in the Beta launch of our Statement of Advice (SoA) platform, starting on 28 October 2016. This is the perfect opportunity to obtain a compliant, cost effective SoA for clients who nee...d financial product advice before setting up their SMSF.Whilst the online platform is in Beta you can be assured that the advice we produce will be manually overseen by the Authorised Representative of an Australian Financial Services Licensee. This means our SoAs are fully compliant, as if your client had personally received one-to-one advice. FREE TO USE A.S.A.P.’s platform is free to sign in and start using with your clients, including our powerful advice scoping tool. This tool is designed to be used in front of clients and identifies when financial product advice is needed as part of the SMSF accounting process. A.S.A.P.’s advice fees are a fixed amount per SoA ordered, starting from $250 + GST for straight forward scenarios to $350 + GST for more complex situations. We also charge a fixed fee for advice on each super rollover. HOW IT WORKS GUIDE Our ‘How It Works’ slide deck runs through our membership system as well as the SoA order process, and should provide accounting practices with a good idea of the layout and functionality of this advice generation tool available to them. To access and download our 'How It Works' guide, please get in touch: [email protected] ADVICE UNDER OUR AFSL We are delighted to confirm that we are now regulated by ASIC and are authorised to give financial product advice. 10.01.2022 ASIC has issued accountants a stern warning ahead of the new licensing regime, reminding practitioners that providing unlicensed financial services is a criminal offence. A.S.A.P. Advice provides fast, affordable Statements of Advice, allowing accountants to carry on with business as usual.

03.01.2022 Still haven't got your limited licence? ASIC has indicated that it cannot guarantee that applications for a limited licence received after 1 March will be approved by 1 July 2016. A.S.A.P. provides a solution which does not require accountants to hold a limited licence. Find out more at www.asap-advice.com.au
