Save the 11th, 12th & 13th of November in your diary for... 2016 cause that's when we'll be making Gippsland Rock. Once again we've decided to make it a Charity Weekend for Ronald McDonald House Monash so it will be a great weekend for a great cause!!! The bistro will be open from 6pm, with the brand new Friday night Monster Meat Tray Raffle kicking off from 7pm. Then come and enjoy some great music for FREE!! ... Hope to see you there!!

22.01.2022 Come on down to St Michael’s Primary school in Traralgon today for the Gippsland Celebrant Services Pop up Wedding Bazzaar!! There’s heaps of fantastic stalls set up, plenty of food & coffee and I’ve even got some great tunes playing! We’re here until 1pm so pop on down and say hi!

20.01.2022 Hey guys and gals, what a busy start to 2016, between birthdays, weddings and dances I haven't had a chance to plan the first HOP for the year. I'd been hoping to have it in April but it looks like that's no longer an option either we can't book a hall!! The stratty hall is booked with the well attended Shakespeare Festival and after ringing around a couple of different halls they are all booked or undergoing maintenance. But do not fear we will return with the HOP hopefully in May, stay safe and see you all on the floor.

19.01.2022 Ladies and Gentlemen, Presenting the 2017 Gippy Rocks official advertising flyer!!! You will note a new location for our Sunday festival, were very excited to ...be moving this years day festival to Canal reserve! It offers lots of parking, a massive grass area for gazebos and picnics, plus a great spot for our dance floor and bands. Plus it right where the Sunday market is usually held so it's easy to find and close to the Sale Memorial Hall. We hope to have tickets available soon via our website www.gippyrocks.org.au We're looking forward to seeing you all in November!!!

18.01.2022 Hey everyone!!! So as some of you may have heard Gippy Rocks will not be running in November this year, this is mostly due to our venue being unavailable. Due t...o this we are very excited to announce that we will be moving the dates of Gippy Rocks to February 2019 22-24th to be exact. Now we are still working out some of the finer details so stay tuned for heaps more info to come. We can definitely confirm that ‘Cadilac Drifters’ will be returning to the Gippy Rocks stage in February next year. Once we finalise our remaining bands we’ll let you all know! Make sure you put these new dates in your calendar and start thinking about accomodation as we know Gippy Rocks 2018 will be a roaring success. Saturday n...ight last year was a sell out crowd so don't miss out on your opportunity to attend the biggest event on the Gippsland calendar. Weekend passes only $45 each, with access to all the dances and entry as a spectator into the Victorian Regional Dance Championships

06.01.2022 Hey everyone, Some important dates to put in your diary in the lead up to Gippy Rocks 2017 19th August - Trivia night/Dance fundraiser at the Sale RSL & Communi...ty club. Starting at 7:30pm, teams of 8 $10 p.p 26th August - Dance Demonstration at Bunnings Sale 11:30am till 1pm. Great opportunity for promoting the festival and showing off our local talent. 16th September - Dance Demonstration at 'The Mall' Sale (near the clock tower). 11am till 1:30pm. This is supporting a family fun day the Victoria Police are putting on in Sale. 22nd September - Trivia night/ Dance fundraiser at the Traralgon RSL. 7:30pm start, teams of 8 $10p.p 25th September - Charity Bingo night at the Sale Greyhounds club, 7:30pm start $3 books. This is a great fun night with lots of raffle prizes and plenty of money to be won. 21st October - Trivia night/ Social Dance at the Sale RSL and Community Club. Starting at 7:30pm, teams of 8 $10 p.p November 10-12th - Gippy Rocks Festival!!!!! Please share and support as many of these functions as possible, without these little fundraisers and publicity opportunities we wouldn't be able to put on such a great festival!!!

04.01.2022 All set up at the Recreation Reserve aka (Maffra Footy Oval) down in Maffra today for the Rotary club of Maffra, today we are going to make a WORLD RECORD ATTEMPT!!!!!! Today's world record attempt is the most amount of gumboots thrown simultaneously, the current record is 431. Now maffra is dairy country and we know we can smash that so get on down here, register and become apart of this world record attempt. The big throw is at 12 noon. But registration closes around 11, also lots of markets and food stalls around
