21.01.2022 We had a great Wedding at The Swanport Reserve, near Murray Bridge, yesterday, 30/04/2017. Over 100 people watched the wedding of Vicki and Herb who chose to have their reception at the Swanport Hotel. Congratulations to you both. Pictures will be posted shortly.

09.01.2022 The Internet is a great tool, just had another enquiry about a wedding from overseas. One partner from Germany and the other partner from Sweden. What a great idea of spending their Wedding and Honeymoon in "good old Australia.

09.01.2022 I had the privilege of marrying this elderly couple, who have a unique history. The day that was chosen for this wedding was very intimate and in their own home just before Christmas. The Wedding Service was conducted both in English and German, the birthplace of this lovely couple. Congratulations to Gerhard and Thea.

07.01.2022 I am having a relaxing time looking for new venues, and a Paddlesteamer on the River Murray is a fantastic place to have your wedding. Whilst enjoying the cruise on our mighty murray I received a phone call to be involved at a wedding to be presented in two languages namely German and English later this year on our great beaches down south.

07.01.2022 Wow, just in the process of arranging another wedding interstate. I will have to do a little homework, as this couple wants to marry at Uluru. Heard many dreamtime stories from a great man, Jami Lester, whilst working in NT. Last trip up there to Uluru we had a great sunset.

06.01.2022 I just can not believe it that a wedding celebrant can conduct a wedding without an interpreter when the bride comes from overseas and can not understand the English language! The groom said it doesn't matter and I will just tell her of what went on. How can the celebrant register such an event? UNREAL!!

06.01.2022 Performed a beautiful wedding yesterday at Stangate House Aldgate South Australia. The service was performed both in English as well as in German. The bride was from Germany and her parents where here to witness their daughters big day. You couldn't ask for a better day with not a cloud in the sky and great sunshine. 06.01.2022 A recent trip to Mildura and Wentworth saw a lovely couple getting married on the Paddlesteamer Ruby. We wish them all the best for their marked out future. What a wonderful day was had had by all.

05.01.2022 I know it is the privelege from a bride to be a little late, but at a recent wedding in the lower murray area, the bride was nearly two hours late..... Eunice was more than once ready to work away, but the guests arrived......... where was the bride??? Finally came, but I can assure you it will NEVER happen to me again!

04.01.2022 What a hectic few days! Everything is now out of Christian Rd Murray Bridge and has been placed at Wellington, South Australia. It will still take a little while before everything has been put into the right place. The Land Phone Line is non existent, but the mobile has not changed.
