A Vendor’s Statement - also known as a Section 32 Statement - is a legal document that is required by law to be given by a seller (the vendor) to a potential purchaser prior to a purchaser signing a contract of sale. The statement provides and contains information to prospective purchasers about the property’s title, this information includes things such as: - mortgages - covenants - easements - zoning... - outgoings, such as rates etc. - whether the property may be in a bushfire prone area.
