07.01.2022 Player spotlight EP Pitchers (a.k.a The Stable) In today's player spotlight, Baseball Canberra would like to congratulate the entire Elite Performance (EP) pitching staff on their recent testing results. On Friday 20 November, three of the EP pitchers completed their second block of testing and one athlete completed their first. In a change of modus operandi, EP pitchers are currently working in blocks (6-8 weeks in length), with programs uniquely designed for each indiv...idual athlete. The goal of each block is to increase the athletes overall Mobility, Plyometrics and Pitching ability through exercises reflective of the athletes current ability. After the testing on Friday, we would like to acknowledge the following improvements: Patrick Paramonov (Bandits) Sit and Reach +14cn Board Jump +20cm Fastball Velocity +8mph Max Lyddiard (Indians) Sit and Reach +12cm Board Jump +24cm Fast Velocity +4mph Will Page-Allen (Woden) Sit and Reach +10cm Board Jump +25cm Fast Velocity +1mph (every pitch at testing over previous PB) Kobe Chesterton (Ainslie) first block Sit and Reach +9cm Board Jump +9cm Fast Velocity +4mph Team 4-1 Record ERA 2.93 34k in 31inn Two further athletes completed initial testing on Friday and we look forward to seeing their future results. A special thank you to the non-pitching member of 'The Stable' Cooper McMaster. As the catcher at every testing so far, Cooper has played a massive role in creating the right environment for success. And a special mention to Will Russell for the amount of work you have put in to support the pitchers. These results show the amazing work you have done to support our athletes. Congratulations to all involved and we look forward to following your progress

04.01.2022 What a weekend it has been so far for our 2 Local ACT Bandits Baseball Club debutants! It started Friday night with Dean Stoka throwing 7 innings, 4 hits, 1 run, 5 strike outs! An absolute outstanding performance to support the Cavalry to their opening night win! Then last night, James Trevanion broke the dead lock and drove in an RBI on a single to right field! Some clutch hitting right there! ... Well done to you both on a great debut! Tonight there will be 2 games! 4pm and 7pm
