21.01.2022 This year, Act-Belong-Commit is proud to be sponsoring the Mental Health Employee or Volunteer Excellence Award which will be presented during Mental Health Week at the WA Mental Health Awards in November 2020. This award is for outstanding contribution to mental health by any individual who is a paid employee or volunteer (unpaid) within the mental health sector of Western Australia. This award particularly highlights the importance of volunteering to help others, or workin...g for a cause or something you feel passionate about, which relates to the Commit domain of the Act-Belong-Commit message. Working or volunteering in the mental health sector provides the opportunity to develop a stronger sense of meaning and purpose in our lives, it encourages connection to our communities and is a core pillar in the work many incredible organisations do across WA.
