25.01.2022 Another great session on the Sip Dan Khum, with Kwan Jang Nim HC Hwang and USA TAC Chair Craig Hays Sa Bom Nim. Session started at 1:30 am for us on the East co...ast of Australia and it was great to see Connor SBN, D Koina SBN and Wyles SBN also online. Fantastic to connect with practitioners around the world and be introduced to the 7th hyung in the series. Sip Dan Khum Chil Ro. Townsend SBN there were no spiders present!

20.01.2022 Gungahlin Soo Bahk Do is pleased to announce that some classes are resuming next week. The 6:30pm classes will recomence. Kids classes will not start until term 3. Very excited to get on the floor with everyone.... We will be following current guidelines for hygiene and cleaning at the dojang. the dojang is big enough to accommodate classes with 20 people. In the lead up to the World Moo Duk Kwan 75th anniversary celebrations Capital Soo Ba...hk Do Academy has arranged for access to our Hall at St John the Apostle Primary School for the opening Seminar and the Zone 1 seminar. All members in Region 3 are invited to register (https://wmdk.wufoo.com//moo-duk-kwan-75th-virtual-registr/) and to attend with us on the day. However, it is essential to ensure we comply with COVID19 requirements. Hall capacity: 40 individuals - Priority for participants o Currently 25 members have registered interest Attendees to sign in Temperature monitoring Hand Hygiene (Sanitizer available) If unwell do not attend Registration for the premium package is encouraged and this supports WMDK activities. We used to believe that str...etching before your workout was a big part of avoiding injury, but it turns out it's actually NOT. Researchers believe that stretching before a workout can tire out your muscles before you get to the part where you're actually doing work! Instead it's a good idea to warm up before you work out by doing "big" dynamic movements that mimic what's going to happen you in your workout. This can include brisk walking, calisthenics, movements like lunges, arm circles, and leg swings. 05.01.2022 On Wednesday the 7th of February 2001 Gungahlin Soo Bahk Do opened its dojang at 6:30pm. The first classes consisted of members who had moved to the New region in the ACT and wanted to train closer to home. We opened at Palmerston Primary School training two nights a week. Shortly after this Monday night was added at the first Gungahlin Public Library (Ernest Cavanagh Street) at 7:00pm. When the Nicholls venue (current location) became available in 2003 the school moved and... has continued to operate in this location. Kyo Sa Nim John Olejniczak was the first new white belt to work through the doors and continues to train with us. Joining in August of the 2001 he is coming up to 20 years membership in the Moo Duk Kwan Currently 25 people who have achieved their Dan Bon from Gungahlin Soo Bahk Do these are in order of Dan Bon: 1.
