10.02.2022 Happy Birthday DGunz Sc aka Dorota aka Dotti. You’ve been with us at least 17 years but probably more as a trainer. And Women’s Circus before that. Such amazing dedication. Without you there were times when we wouldn’t have been able to keep going - you coped with us having to cancel classes from time to time due to low numbers. When we had to move from Footscray to Fitzroy and then to Fairfield you came with us - what a trooper!... A highlight was when you first performed with us in 2016 at White Night Circus Circus with that amazing straddle with your head on the mat. And the inaugural Coming Back Out Ball for LGBQTI+ for elders at Melbourne Town Hall where we not only performed but went to the ball and we all frocked up! Enjoy your day.

02.02.2022 If you haven’t seen these three amazing women you must. Fantastic inter generational circus. All of them have directed or coached Women's Circus and Sharon Gruenert has trained Pow Circus when heavily pregnant. Love, love, love.

20.01.2022 We’ve had 2 sessions now of strength and conditioning in the parks of Darebin. Susan Walsh Reserve and Ray Bramham Gardens. Blessed with the weather both times and not over populated at 4pm. So nice to see everyone again. We’ve got 4 more to go if you’re interested. DM us.

18.01.2022 There is no better way to start the day than an early morning sea swim. It's physical, mental, spiritual, communal - all wrapped up in a simple dip in the sea. ...A group of women, who call themselves the 'Morning Swimmers of Sandagerði', brave the icy waters of the North Atlantic, along the coastline of the Faroe Islands, for their morning dip in the ocean. They go in every day of the year, sunshine or snow, unless a storm roughs up the water too much. And for them it is as much about connection and friendship as it is about exercise and invigoration. 13.01.2022 Fantastic women, if you haven’t seen this show before, you’ll love this. Deb Batton directed a group of older acrobats from Broadmeadows that had a POW Circus woman ( Sonya Rutherford) in it and Karen Hofer and Sheryl Bryce supported them on stilts wearing their Pow Circus T shirts. Sharon Gruenert filled in as POW acro trainer in the past whilst heavily pregnant. And Spenser Inwood co directed with Deb Batton some POW women in a Women’s Circus show.

12.01.2022 Some people take it easy when they retire. Others, like the Fantastic Grandmas, swim with venomous sea snakes. https://greatbig.is/3bAnplo

09.01.2022 If you watch the Midsumma Pride March 2021 FB livestream you can see a glimpse of us at 29.13 to 30.07 minutes. We are in the Access and Inclusion wave, just after the youth groups and the aged care bus. You can see my twirling rainbow brolly in the air as I’m high up on stilts. Pity about the position of the interviewer which partly obscures us. 6 of us out marching today.

The Lobby has created an important survey to capture the LGBTIQ community’s sentiment and will be used to inform our future advocacy efforts. It takes less than five minutes to complete, is anonymous and completely confidential. Complete the survey now: https://bit.ly/2DgQq9F
