22.01.2022 **IMPORTANT NOTICE** . Active Farmers would like to advise all participants of our fitness classes of some precautions that we would like you to take in order t...o limit the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus). . While we are not trying to spread panic or limit our enjoyment of classes, and while the virus in Australia seems to be mainly limited to city areas at the moment, the advice from local and international health organisations (including the World Health Organisation) is that if everyone observes these precautions it should limit the spread of the virus. . These precautions are effectively based on advice from the World Health Organisation. . We respectfully request that all participants please observe the following: 1. DO NOT attend classes if, within the last 15 days, you have travelled through: a. Mainland China; b. Korea; c. Italy; or d. Iran. 2. DO NOT attend classes if you are experiencing fever or any flu like symptoms. 3. ensure that you keep your hands washed either with soap and water or with alcohol rich hand sanitiser. 4. avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth where possible; 5. if you must sneeze or cough please do so into your elbow or a tissue, and wash your hands immediately after; and 6. refrain from sharing food or water bottles where possible. . Active Farmers staff and trainers will also be abiding by these precautions. . If the advice from either local or international authorities suggests further social isolation measures, or if there are participants who would prefer that, Active Farmers are investigating the option of delivering classes online by video. At this stage this hasn’t progressed, but Active Farmers will be in touch with all of you if that does occur. .
