16.01.2022 COVID-19 Update 5 Workplace Assessments and Exercise Classes Dear clients, ... We continue to be open and treating our clients with our usual hands-on specialised care. If you need a letter from us to explain why you are out and about, please ask and we can email it to you prior to your appointment. Remember, going to your physio appointment is exempt from any Police fines. For those patients of ours who cannot get to us, our online consultations have been a real hit! We are employing all of our experience in guiding our clients with their exercises and self massage. We are getting great feedback from patients. If you're feeling stiff and sore whilst working from home, it's possible that your desk setup at home is not as optimal as it could be, placing tension on your body. We can do an online assessment of your workplace, and give you the right advice in order to get your desk set up just right, for you. It's only $65 and it's tax deductible - so call us now and book it in! We will soon be running exercise classes via Zoom - details to come but at this point they'll be at different times of the day and focusing on different parts of your body. These should help break up your day, with evidence based exercises which will strengthen you and give you more resilience during these difficult times. Details to come! 14.01.2022 COVID-4 Update - Online consultations are open! Dear clients, Our online consultations are up and running! We are offering these at $65 for a 30 min consultation. ... If you are having to self-isolate, or just don't want to leave the house, an excellent option is to have an online consultation. Research over recent years has been showing these are as effective as in-house treatments. You just need (preferably) a laptop with a camera but we can even use your phone. Of course, you'll also need a stable internet connection. Some handy hints: 1. Have your foam roller or massage ball ready - we can teach you where it is best to release 2. Wear adequate bra, shorts etc 3. Find a quiet place in your house where you are not backlit for example in front of window 4. If you have balance issues, think about having something nearby top hold onto, like a chair to reduce the risk of a fall. These consultations can be booked online or over the phone with our front desk staff. Payments will need to be made over the phone for now, but we are getting our website ready to accept payments shortly.
