Although an emerging technology and technique in medicine, it has been used since the mid-1990s in dental and oral surgery and to aid in soft tissue recovery following plastic surgery. What is PRP therapy used for?... Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, uses injections of a concentration of a patients own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. She has got over 17 years of long practicing experience as General Practitioner and Skin Cancer doctor. She had completed her MBBS in Iran and her FRACGP in Australia and has worked extensively in Australian health system for over 12 years. She also has American Board Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine (USA) and Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine (Australia). Dr Asadi has a lot of experience in handling general medical patients and skin conditions. She used to run her own medical centre but is now focusing on her interests in patient management.
