24.01.2022 Love the new seat at the Strahan cemetery. Positioned centrally for visitors to chat to their loved ones, or simply a spot to sit, rest, and reflect in the winter sunshine with a view over the harbour.

05.01.2022 WEST COAST SWIMMING POOL OPENING HOURS! In the attached flyer the West Coast Swimming Pool opening dates and hours have been determined. Council would like to ...advise that season passes are now available from the Council office. Fees and charges in relation to the pool season ticket prices have been reduced to help benefit all using the pools this coming season. Child: $60.00 Adult: $100.00 Concession: $60.00 Family: $220.00 Family Concession: $190.00 The weather forecast will be monitored, with the trigger for changes to opening hours based on the Bureau of Meteorology afternoon (approx. 4.30pm) weather forecast for Queenstown and Zeehan. Should the forecast be a maximum less than 16C for Queenstown and Zeehan pools will not open for public recreational swimming. Forecasts will be monitored early each day to determine if there has been significant forecast change on the day. Pools will open for bookings and regular programs regardless of cold weather, in consultation with program coordinators. Council will utilise various communication channels to ensure details regarding opening hours are relayed to the public.
