FRONTIER SILVER APPLICATIONS OPENING SOON Campus Ministry are now looking for our fourth cohort of Frontier Silver volunteers to join our team for September 2020 September 2021 year!... This is an exciting opportunity as an ACU student to identify your passions and gifts, grow in your faith, and be of service online and on your local campus. Frontier Bronze team members have already had a taste of Frontier, so we especially invite you to consider applying. Working together with Campus Ministry staff, Frontier Silver team members are formed into dynamic, faith-filled teams that will directly engage with a broad range of other students and play a role in furthering ACU's evangelising mission online and on campus throughout the year. The Frontier program is flexible in its delivery, whilst being intentional about its outcomes. Through regular one-on-one catch ups with our Campus Ministry Pastoral Associate (Students), as well as scheduled whole team interactions, Frontier Silver volunteers gain valuable insights and are equipped with practical skills that will propel both their faith and career, which will have a ripple effect on the broader community and life of the local Church. The Frontier experience is further enhanced through team members being matched with appropriate Catholic professional mentors within a structured mentoring relationship, and to attend Frontier Silver Initial Formation (all day on Wednesday 30 September - compulsory). Applications Open: Monday 17 August 2020 Each Frontier volunteer is required to commit to 75 hours in the year across two or more of our five core ministry areas. It's a great way for students to understand their options and increase their awareness of university support services.
