16.01.2022 I have a diet/nutrition tip that applies to everybody everywhere who wants to feel better, have more energy, be less bloated and easily lose unwanted excess weight. Step 1: Pay attention to all of the foods & drinks that you eat that cause you: - gas... - bloating - constipation - fatigue/lethargy/tiredness - get pimples/oiley skin - other discomforts Step 2: Stop eating them. This seems simple.. and it is. If you only eat food that make you feel light, energised and good, then that's how you'll feel. Quick tip: avoid processed foods and excess sugars, that's a good start. The rest you'll figure out using the process of elimination. You're welcome.

15.01.2022 It's true that whatever you set your mind to, you can achieve. If it's important enough, and you exclude everything that takes away from your goal, you will achieve it. Not easily, and not quickly, but with persistence you will have it.... Where there's the will, there is a way.

06.01.2022 Benefits to a healthy lifestyle: Strength training increases your muscle strength and density, bone strength and density and improves the function of your ligaments, tendons and joints. It also improves your heart strength and increases your resting and active metabolism.... The most common methods of strength training are body weight exercises and resistance training, i.e weights or other equipment/machines. --- Cardio exercise improves your heart and lung function (cardio respiratory function). The Cardiovascular system refers to the heart and circulatory system that delivers blood and nutrients including oxygen around your body during exercise and rest to replenish your muscles and feed your body. The Respiratory system refers to your lung function in delivering oxygen and extracting carbon dioxide from your blood stream. Your heart and lungs work together to absorb oxygen, circulate it around your body with other nutrients to enable critical bodily functions, and then to expell the waste product when you exhale. The more you use these systems the stronger and more effective and efficient they become. You exercise your cardio respiratory system by doing exercises like walking, running, riding, swimming, hiking, etc. The idea is to elevate your heart rate and breathing rate and maintain that elevated level for as long as possible, but ideally 15-40 minutes per workout. --- Combining strength training with cardio exercise is the best way to strengthen your body, improve your health and fitness and boost your immune system while maintaining a healthy body weight.



05.01.2022 As 2020 comes to a close, it's a good time now to reflect on the lessons we've learnt from the year just passed as we prepare to make plans and changes in our lives for 2021. What were your biggest lessons from 2020? What could you do less of to improve your situation in 2021?... What do you know you should do more of to make 2021 a more productive year in whatever area is most important to you? Are you going to make your health a bigger priority this year? How are you going to reallocate your finite resources to better serve your goals this year? We have a limited amount of time, energy, motivation and money to put into our lives, where are you spending yours? Can they be allocated more efficiently to achieve your goals in a more balanced and fulfilling way? This is the economics of personal planning. The intelligent distribution of ones finite resource's to efficiently satisfy their unending desires. (Otherwise known as 'adulting') ----- Tip: Do what makes you happy. You can't lose. Figure out what's most important to you, do more of that. Don't compromise, make time for yourself. You're the main character in your movie, not an extra. Everyone is the main character in their own movie, so if you're not prioritising yourself nobody is. Make 2021 the year you focus on health and happiness. What better use of your time is there? --- Thankyou 2020. Bring on 2021.
