24.01.2022 A piece Ive been working on since last week. Its taken from a photo by a friend of mine; Alex Miles (Check out his FB page: Your Money Wont Save You) Alex took this on his trip around the states earlier this year. I saw it and just had to make it into a charcoal. I love the flow of the clothes and the feel of the captured moment in time. Sorry about the resolution, my phone cam isnt the greatest.

14.01.2022 Latest one for the exhibition this summer. A little darker with great lightning and symmetry. Fully enjoyed trying to balance all the shades whilst maintaining just enough light to help the silhouettes pop. Again sorry for the resolution, phone camera has taken a beating of late ;)

13.01.2022 The first triptych of the exhibition. It emphasises cafe/restaurant culture in an urban environment. I wanted to balance the three pieces with a triangular symmetry. The piece on the left focuses the eye into the left corner. The middle piece draws the eye central and up. and the final piece draws the eye right. This weight in the images creates the triangluar symmetry I was aiming for. The images also offer a spectrum of modern dining and cafe culture.

11.01.2022 Final piece of the first triptych done. A busy piece with lots of individuals out the front of a crowded Parisian cafe. This piece will sit on the right of the three. The big umbrella gives the piece weight on the right of the image and complements its opposing number.

10.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came down to The Meat Market Stables for the opening night of People of the Pavement, an exhibition on homelessness. I was humbled by the support, positivity, and pure love weaving its way through the exhibition, and hope to see more of the same during the next two weeks! It would be so great if you could spread the word about the exhibition to your friends, family, and colleagues. Id also love to see representatives from Town Hall ( like @sallyca...pp_ ) pop over to demonstrate their support for the project and the people who are doing it tough on Melbournes streets. The more people we can get visiting the exhibition the more awareness of the problem and hopefully, more money for charities including The Salvation Army, HoMie, 300 Blankets, and Pets of the Homeless.
