14.01.2022 COVID Circuit Breaker announcement: ADASA is recommending that dentists prepare for Level 5 Dental Service Restrictions from 12.01am 19 November 2020. We are still working tonight with SA Health regarding these restrictions and will advise of any updates.... We understand this announcement has significant implications for you and your team and will continue to work hard to assist members navigate through this crisis. You will receive an email shortly containing further information about Level 5 Restrictions, but essentially no routine dental treatment can be provided. 13.01.2022 An update has been made to the Parafield Cluster Isolation restrictions in South Australia. The Emergency Management (Parafield Cluster Isolation No 1) (COVID-1...9) Direction 2020 has been revoked and replaced by the Emergency Management (Parafield Cluster Isolation No 2) (COVID-19) Direction 2020. This new Direction came into effect as of 5.34pm Friday 20 November 2020. The Direction provides updates after South Australia’s Stay at Home period. The changes are minor and restrictions under the previous Direction largely apply. An additional business has been added to the list which requires self-isolation: SA Structural, 40-45 Kaurana Ave Edinburgh 5111 Between 7.30am 3.30pm on 12 November 2020 The following restrictions and provisions are in place and carried over from the previous Direction: This Direction applies to any person who was present at the following businesses and/or schools on one or more of the following days/times: Roma Mitchel Secondary College - 12 & 13 November, any time Thomas More College - 12 & 13 November 2020, any time Mawson Lakes Primary School - 13 November 2020, any time Elizabeth Aquadome - Between 11am 1.30pm on 14 November 2020 Peppers Waymouth Hotel Adelaide - Any time between 2 November until 15 November 2020, including of these dates Woodville Pizza Bar - Any time between 6 November until 16 November, including these dates ***IMPORTANT- This also includes people who received a delivery from the Woodville Pizza Bar and the delivery driver. This also applies to any members of the household of people who have are identified as attended Roma Mitchel Secondary College, Thomas More College, Mawson Lakes Primary School and Woodville Pizza Bar on the above dates. If you were present at the businesses and/or schools at the times specified above you must: 1 Travel by the most direct and practical route to your residential premises (home) unless you are already at that location; 2 Reside and remain isolated and segregated from other people at your home for a period of 14 days commencing the last day you attended the business and/or school (or the member of your household attended the business and/or school); 3 Ensure that you do not leave your home unless: for medical purposes, to obtain medical care or medical supplies, to receive a COVID-19 test, in an emergency situation or otherwise specified by the State Coordinator or delegate; 4 Wear a mask when leaving the your home in the above situations and only travel directly to/from the destination (e.g. testing site); 5 Take reasonable steps to ensure no other person enters your home unless another person usually lives there and are also isolating or they provide/receive care to/from you; 6 Follow all reasonable directions from a treating medical practitioner; 7 Get a COVID-19 test on day 1 and 12 of this Direction coming into effect; Note- If you have already received a test in the days between when you were last at the business/school and this Direction coming into effect then you are not required to get an additional test; 8 Notify SA Health immediately if you develop any COVID-19 symptoms. If you are advised by a medical practitioner that you have tested positive to COVID-19 you must remain in a health or other facility as instructed by SA Health until the medical practitioner certifies that you are eligible for discharge. IMPORTANT- If you received a negative COVID-19 test result you MUST complete the specified 14 day self-quarantine period and continue to remain segregated from other people. *Note- This does not apply to a person who was directed to and entered the hotel site of Peppers Waymouth Hotel Adelaide, as a member of the Outbreak Response Team that was dressed in full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Please be advised that the SA Government in consultation with SA Health and ADASA has indicated Level 5 Dental Practice Restrictions will transition to Level 2 Dental Practice Restrictions following confirmation by the SA Commissioner with a new or amended State Emergency Direction. ... ADASA working closely with SA Government will further review dental practice restrictions on 1 December 2020 depending on the level of suppression of COVID-19 in South Australia. Please be reminded that the Level 2 Dental Practice Restrictions will only come into effect following the authorisation and signing of State Emergency Direction on the SA Government website. This is good news for South Australia and the dental profession, and we’ll contact you with confirmation when the change is made, along with resources to support you in the implementation of Level 2. We’ll keep you posted.
