25.01.2022 I haven't read a lot of these comments yet as I'll be a blubbering mess but this one reaches right into my soul ...I've just been told of this beautiful romance that began to blossom in our tearoom ....And sadly this lovely gentleman passed away 4 weeks ago ...RIP lovely customer ( I didn't know your name but I can still picture you at the table enjoying our lemon and sugar pancakes ) and thankyou for sharing a little part of your life's journey Shirley ....we are honoured to have been a part of it

21.01.2022 2nd day running I've had to bake this heavenly gingerbread cake OMG served with fresh cream it's just beautiful !!!

21.01.2022 Still warm ....the humble jam coconut slice , pastry made the old fashioned way ( my food processor is still broken ) the raspberries picked from a little town in Eskdale Victoria , the bush so old that you can no longer get this type of raspberry. They were delicious fresh but so good in our jam as well

14.01.2022 If anyone is looking at holding a children's pizza/ pasta making party , come and see me , I have lots of bits and pieces including 10 chef penguin build a Bears ( penguins with chefs costumes ) that the kids can make while waiting for their pizzas to cook , I have some great pizza / Italian cds as well and could probably sell you a pasta making machine , come in and see me

13.01.2022 I love this photo of my mum Adele and my Aunty Val , it was so bittersweet when we opened as although my mum was very excited in the planning stage collecting recipes and so forth , she did not live to see our tearoom but my lovely Aunty still visits and she is also responsible for that divine chicken almond sandwich recipe which has been getting very popular lately, it's so delicious it's actually a joy to prepare ( and get the leftover mixture)

07.01.2022 I've been putting off this post but the time has sadly come to say goodbye to Addies at Hammondville ...if you would like to indulge in our beautiful lemon syrup loaf one last time we are here 8am till 2pm for this week ending Friday and next week from Tuesday till our final day on Friday 30th June ...if you get a chance come in and say goodbye or write in our visitors book to be forever part of our memory ...we thank our beautiful customers so much for supporting our tearoom and offering friendships that we'll never forget , it has truly made our time here at Addies so special
