07.01.2022 COVID-19 Due to the recent uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 virus we reassure our customers that we have updated the process and procedures for uplifts and deliveries and are outlined below: Employees and sub-contractors will sign a self declaration when working for the Adelaide 24 Hr Towing and associated companies, stating that they have not travelled overseas in the past 14 days, havent been in contact with anyone that has been tested positive for Covid-19. They will de...clare that they have no flu like symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat and are healthy at this time. The procedures adopted for loading and unloading include: Drivers and customers to keep the social distances as required by the government and SA Health officials. Carry their own pens and have customers do the same. Complete any paperwork and take photos as required and then step back to allow the customer to sign it. Handwashing and/or the use of hand sanitiser is recommended before and after each pick up and delivery. Increased frequency of cleaning trucks/vehicles by the drivers including sanitation of all vehicle high contact areas, such as door handles (inside and out), seatbelts, mirrors, gear stick, indicator/wiper levers and steering wheel which includes any equipment used to secure and load/unload vehicles. We will be monitoring and closely following the advice by the government and local health authorities and continue to take the necessary steps and precautions as they arise. As a small family owned and operated business we normally have limited contact with customers as bookings are carried out over the telephone. If any of our staff or sub-contractors become sick or feel unwell they have been advised to stay at home for the recommended time frame. We would like to thank you for understanding and be reassured that we will continue to support our staff and customers during these difficult times.
