18.01.2022 had a great day today at the Lucinda clinic i think the last time i rode under her was when i was 17!!! Freckles was great and it was a good day for him with all the tricky exercises .

18.01.2022 School holiday boredom setting in? The MJET holiday program is perfect for horse-mad kids! They will get their own pony for the day, learn how to tack up and care for him, and best of all spend hours of fun in the saddle. This includes lessons, trail rides, mounted games...and even jumping and advanced lessons for the more experienced riders. It runs 9am to 4pm every weekday of the April school holidays. We're booked out for the rest of this week, but a few places are still available for 20th-24th April so make sure you get in quickly! 17.01.2022 I get lots of really nice emails from all kinds of people and of all ages and many different topics...but this one today i thought was very topic worthy - wear...ing helmets. so i asked Emma if i could share it with all of you. thank you Emma Pidgeon for saying yes.. Hi Megan, I’m sure this is might be a little odd. But I have made a resolution this year to tell people who have had a positive influence on me, or do something that I admire. So here it is. I support helmet wearing vehemently. I think because of my pony club background, or just plain fear of what my mother would say if she ever saw me riding without one, regardless, I always wear one and would never ever coach a student without one. Of all the amazing things you have done in the equestrian industry, your choice to forgo top hats for dressage has been to me, the highlight of your career. Now, that is not to take away from any of your amazing achievements, but just to really drive home how much that means. I know there have been a number of top athletes that have also opted to ride in helmets which is a real turning point for the sport. I know there are kids now that look up to me and try to emulate my habits, as I do with riders such as yourself. I feel it is my duty, not only for my own safety, but for those who use me as an idol to always wear a helmet. I only wish that many more would follow in your footsteps. 03.01.2022 These fires are really devastating in the Adelaide Hills... We have not had to move any horses and we are all ok. Hahndorf Trail Rides are open for 2015 as of tomorrow. The horses are all refreshed after their Christmas break. So pop up to Hahndorf for a ride and a bite to eat at one if Hahndorf's many restaurants and cafes.

02.01.2022 had a awesome day today at Reynella Horse-Trials xc training day. it was also great to see so many people out there for the working beee afterwards getting lots... of jobs done!!! i was out there still jumping while the hard work was getting done and i felt a bit embarrassed for not being on the end of a whipper snipper!! But personally from a rider, thank you to everyone that pitched in today to help. See more
