22.01.2022 *** COVID-19 UPDATE *** This weekend will see temperatures rise to 40C. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions (in place until Tuesday 1 December):... Our pools are CLOSED for recreational swimming. They are, however, OPEN for lap swimming and gym use. We would love to see you, but we are required by law to limit access if you are not here for fitness or rehabilitation. We look forward to welcoming you again with open arms once these restrictions have been lifted.

21.01.2022 *** OLD INFORMATION: SEE NEWEST PINNED POST INSTEAD *** As announced today, South Australia will be ordered into a lockdown for six days from midnight tonight. Adelaide Aquatic Centre is therefore closed until further notice.... This measure has been taken to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community. We encourage you to stay updated on COVID-19 via the SA Health website. Due to the lockdown requirements, there will be no Aquatic Centre staff on site. For enquires about membership, swim school, scheduled bookings, or multi-visit passes, please email [email protected] and we will respond as soon as possible. 20.01.2022 UPDATE TO OPENING HOURS WED 18 NOV To ensure that Adelaide Aquatic Centre is ready for you these summer holidays, we will be closed for the evening of Wednesday 18 November from 6.00pm. You will still be able to use the centre (and the gym if you are a member) on the day before this time. If you are a swim school member with a class on during or after this time, your lesson will be cancelled and you will not be charged for this class.... The Centre will reopen the following morning 6.00am Thursday 19 November.

18.01.2022 It's hot this week and summer is just around the corner. You may be thinking "I'd love to visit the pool" Great! We'd love to have you. However, there are still a few rules in place, due to the new COVID guidelines.... Due to the rules, we are only allowed to offer health and fitness services. This means we are unable to provide recreational swimming. YOU CAN, however, visit for lap swimming and using the gym. Group fitness classes are also still open. We understand that you may be feeling a little disappointed. But we all have to pitch in to do what's best for the community. And with time, the restrictions will pass. Thanks for your patience. 13.01.2022 *** COVID UPDATE: Reopening from Tuesday 24 November *** Based on the most recent update from State Government, we can now announce that Adelaide Aquatic Centre is: Reopening for limited services from tomorrow Tuesday 24 November.... We are excited to welcome you back! The guidelines (that impact our opening) mean that we can only offer health and fitness services at this stage. These include lap swimming, gym use, and members-only spa centre access. Group fitness classes also return, with land-based classes back from tomorrow, based on our updated November schedule. Pool-based classes return from Tuesday 1 December. Recreational visits (e.g. family visits with the kids) are not yet available. But, we will let you know as soon as this changes. For your health and safety, when you visit please, remember to: Follow social distancing guidelines (stay 1.5m away from others) Use the sanitising stations around the Centre Fill out contract tracing forms where required (e.g. entering the gym) Swim School is now finished for 2020. All gym and multi-pass memberships will be extended and start again from tomorrow. If you would like to speak to our team, from tomorrow you can call us on 8203 7665 or visit us at the Centre. This measure has been taken to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community. 10.01.2022 COVID UPDATE: CLOSED WED 18 NOV On Monday 16 November South Australia State Government announced new restrictions. These include the requirement for gyms and recreation centres to be closed for an expected duration of two weeks. Because of this, we are closing our Fitness Centre and Group Fitness Classes until further notice.... We are awaiting further clarification on our ability to offer aquatic (pool) based services. Therefore, the City of Adelaide has decided: The Centre will remain closed tomorrow Wednesday 18 November. If you are a Swim School, Passholder, or Gym Member, you should now have received an email with further details. This measure has been taken to ensure the health and wellbeing of our community. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we review further information as it comes to light and we will provide further updates on our closure status tomorrow.
